Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Dushanbe, Tajikistan to Seven Lakes, Tajikistan
The journey starts in Dushanbe in the morning. We will travel through the famous Varzob Valley, passing the Anzob Mountains and driving through the well-known “Tunnel of Death.” Along the way, we will make several photo and viewpoint stops, including the Old Village and the Soviet Mosaic. After that, we continue to Panjakent to visit the UNESCO-listed Sarazm Ruins and the local museum near the archaeological site. Later, we explore the Ancient Panjakent Ruins and visit the museum dedicated to the history of ancient Panjakent and the Silk Road civilization. In the evening, we head toward the Seven Lakes in the Fann Mountains. We will travel up to the 4th lake and stay overnight at Jumaboy Homestay surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.
Day 2: Seven Lakes, Tajikistan to Dushanbe, Tajikistan
The next day, early in the morning, we will drive to the 7th Lake — the highest and most breathtaking of the Seven Lakes. There, we will walk around the lake, relax, enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere, and have time for photos and a photoshoot. After exploring the 7th Lake, we will descend through the lower lakes and begin our scenic return journey to Dushanbe.
