Day 1: Dushanbe, Tajikistan to Seven Lakes, Tajikistan

We set off on an exciting journey through the scenic mountain roads of the Fann Mountains, enjoying panoramic views of valleys and majestic peaks. Along the way, we stop for stunning photos and to fully experience the mountain atmosphere. In Panjakent, we explore the ancient ruins of Sogd, walk among old walls, and immerse ourselves in the history of the Great Silk Road. Then the real adventure begins as we move from one of the Seven Lakes to another, experiencing changing landscapes and vibrant water colors. We discover Nezhigon (Mijgon) with its bright turquoise water and watch how the colors shift with the light. We explore Soya Lake, surrounded by mountain shadows and a unique atmosphere. We reach Gushor Lake, impressed by its dramatic rocky cliffs. At Nofin, we enjoy a picnic with spectacular mountain views and take panoramic photos. We walk near the small and peaceful Khurdak Lake, breathing fresh alpine air. We stop at Marguzor, the largest and most picturesque lake, perfect for photography. Finally, we visit Hazorchashma — the “Lake of a Thousand Springs” — where we feel the power and purity of mountain nature.

Day 2: Seven Lakes, Tajikistan to Dushanbe, Tajikistan

We continue exploring the Seven Lakes, walking along mountain trails beside crystal-clear water. Surrounded by towering peaks and mountain rivers, we take beautiful photos and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of nature. We have lunch by Nofin or Marguzor Lake with panoramic mountain views, then return to Dushanbe through scenic valleys and passes. During the journey, we share legends of the Seven Lakes, stories of ancient Sogd and the Great Silk Road, and explain the natural phenomenon of the changing lake colors. We also talk about how local communities have lived in harmony with the mountains and rivers for centuries.
