About this tour
Sham Valley Ladakh is located in the northern part of India, where you can trek with your family and friends. This is the best way to start trekking in Ladakh! It is also called baby trek as the trekking path is not more than 4000 meters. This is a short trek that can be done easily.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Leh Airport Travel Terminal, Leh to Leh
Today early morning you will board your flight from Delhi to Leh. You will see the beautiful peaks of the Himalayan Mountains ranges during your flight. Our company representative will meet you at Leh airport and he will assist you in the transfer from the airport to the hotel. You will acclimatization yourself on your first day and you will found yourself close to nature. After some rest at the hotel, you will explore the local market of Leh.
Day 2: Leh
The morning after breakfast you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Leh visit Xi Gompa, Thiksey Gompa, and the famous Hemis Monastery. You will see beautiful monasteries, Ladakhi carvings, and beautiful pagoda architecture and culture of Ladakhi people.
Day 3: Leh to Yangthang, India
This morning after breakfast our driver will transfer you to the trekking point. From here you will trek towards Yangthang village. During this trekking tour, you will cross two passes first one will be Phobe La and the second pass will come to Chagatse La. During this trek you will be able to capture many panoramic views of nature in your camera. On reaching Yangthang village, you will camp at the edge of a flowing stream to spend the night.
Day 4: Yangthang, India to hemisshukpachan, Leh Ladakh
The morning after breakfast you will be trekking from Yangthang to Hemis Shukpachan and forthcome, you will pass at Tsermangchan La Pass. The trekking of this day will surely enlarge the climb a bit but the trek will be smooth. After a short climb, you will walk north and descend the slope. After descending you will cross a stream and reach the range of Hemis Shukpachan. This destination has a lot of beautiful water streams and it is shaded by a deficit willow tree and full of the landscape of large fields of barley.
Day 5: Hemis Shukpachan to Ang
Trekking of this day will be quite easier, you will trek from Hemis Shukpachan towards Ang de Mebtak La via the village between two hills. During this trek, you will pass through beautiful apricot plantations in this village and the fragrance of these flowers will transmigrate in your memories forever. Moving forward you will reach Ang de Mebtak La and camp there.
Day 6: Ang to Leh
This is the farewell day of your trekking tour, you will trek from Ang to Temisgam and enjoy innumerable panoramic views of nature. At Temisgam you will reach the main road where a taxi will be waiting for you, from here you will drive back to Leh.
Day 7: Leh Airport Travel Terminal, Leh to Delhi Airport, New Delhi, India
This morning you will be transferred to Leh airport to board the flight for Delhi, from where you will board the flight back to your home country.
