Arrive in Bishkek and transfer to the hotel. After a relaxed morning at the hotel we have a look around city, visiting the National History Museum, Ala Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), National Philharmonic, and taking a wander around one of the bustling bazaar - Osh bazaar. Morning departure to the Son Kul lake. On the way, visit the Burana Tower architectural complex (10-11th century, an important point on the Great Silk Road in ancient time), 15km from the main road. Then we continue our trip to Lake Son-Kul lake. This lake is at an altitude of 3.100 m. above sea level, and is the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan. It is 29 km. long and 18 wide, with an average depth of 13 m., and is located on a wide plateau surrounded by mountains that are around 4.000 m high. Then, we drive to the Boom Gorge and hiking in the Konorchok Canyon with red rocks formed by wind and rain. After hiking we continue our trip. After lunch in Boom gorge, we drive to Son Kul lake. Upon arrival we can walk along the lake and enjoy the sunset. Stay in yurt camp near the lakeshore. B/L/D
After breakfast, we observe the lifestyle of the Kyrgyz nomads and taste the national Kyrgyz dishes: shorpo (meat broth), kuurdak (brown stew meat), besh-barmak (“five fingers”), chobogo (sediment formed during the preparation of clarified butter), traditional nomad bread – boorsok and mare’s milk. You also participate in baking the bread, watch the process of milking mares and try to make kumyz (fermented mare's milk). If you want to go for horse riding or take a trek on foot to the higher mountains around lake. Overnight in yurts. B/L/D
After breakfast, we drive to the Tash Rabat. On the road, we stop to take a photo at the most famous and picturesque 33 parrots pass (3133m.). This is a winding path, with a zigzag scar cuts a gentle slope between two peaks. From the top point, breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes of the inner Tien Shan open up. Tash Rabat is a Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road (Stone Castle). This building had been used as a hotel and shelter for travelers and also underground prison cells for criminals on the Great Silk Road. On the way to the Tash Rabat, we stop in Naryn city to have lunch. On the way to Tash-Rabat we stop to watch falcon hunting and participate in setting a yurt. Then we come to a historical site on the Great Silk Road - the Tash-Rabat Caravan-Sarai. Overnight in tents. B/L/D
After breakfast, we drive to Kochkor, where we visit a felt carpet workshop. Here we see the process of making Kyrgyz traditional felt carpets. After workshop, we have lunch and transfer to the hotel in Bishkek. After dinner we can enjoy a traditional Kyrgyz folk show in a hotel.
Transfer to Manas Airport and departure.
