Arrive in Bishkek and transfer to the guest house. After a relaxed morning at the hotel we have a look around city, visiting the National History Museum, Ala Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), National Philharmonic, and taking a wander around one of the bustling bazaar - Osh bazaar.
Morning departure to the Son Kul lake. On the way, visit the Burana Tower architectural complex (10-11th century, an important point on the Great Silk Road in ancient time), 15km from the main road. Then we continue our trip to Lake Son-Kul lake. This lake is at an altitude of 3.100 m. above sea level, and is the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan. It is 29 km. long and 18 wide, with an average depth of 13 m., and is located on a wide plateau surrounded by mountains that are around 4.000 m high. Upon arrival we have time for horse riding or walk along the lake and enjoy the sunset. Stay in yurt camp near the lakeshore.
After breakfast we drive to Kochkor from Son Kul lake. On arrival to Kochkor we have a lunch. Then, we drive to Issyk Kul lake, the second largest alpine lake in the world after Lake Titicaca in South America. Our destination is Skazka canyons. After watching canyons, we drive to the yurt camp with facilities near the lakeshore in Ak-Sai village (Ak-Sai canyons). Overnight in yurt camp.
After breakfast we observe the demonstration of golden eagle and kyrgyz sighthound (taigan) hunting. Take pictures with the hunter and his eagle and dog. Afternoon we departure to Bishkek. On the way we stop for taking a video or photo at the observation point of Ak-Sai canyons from where a magnificent panorama of the southern coast of the Issyk Kul lake and canyons open. In Kyzyl-Tuu, on the way to Bishkek, we visit a shop where yurts – the traditional Kyrgyz nomadic dwelling – are sold. We can take part in setting up a yurt. Lunch is on the way in the café. After dinner we enjoy a traditional Kyrgyz folk show. Stay in guest house.
Transfer to Airport and departure.
