Toshkent (Tashkent) is live and busting city of Uzbekistan with 2200 years of history. It is one of the largest cities of former Soviet Union with mix culture of Soviets and traditional life and architecture of Uzbeks. The city tour can be started at the Monument of courage - Earthquake Memorial. Even after tragedy Toshkent succeeded to keep its old town where can be seen the range of old mud houses with famous complex called "Khazrati Imam", madrassah of Barakhan,Tilla Sheykh mosque, mausoleum of saint Abu Bakir Kaffal al-Shashi and Friday Mosque. Visit and walk across the Independence square as a last sight of our today’s tour.
TOSHKENT-SAMARKAND Drive to railway station to take bullet train to SAMARKAND "SAMARKAND is beauty of world"(Central Asian folk). Samarkand truly lives up to its title as the "Pearl of East," a jewel in the region that enchants with its timeless beauty, rich history, and architectural brilliance. The city boasts an awe-inspiring array of architectural marvels, adorned with intricately tiled facades and majestic domes that seem to touch the sky. City tour will be started at Guri Amir (tomb of Tamerlan) mausaleum, later on will be followed by outstanding Registan square with Ulugbek madrasa (XV c), Tilla kori madrasa (XVII c), Sherdor madrasa (XVII c), walking through short but famous street of Toshkent to Bibikhanum mosque(XIV) and time to LUNCH THEN free time to explore "SIYAB" local market.
SAMARKAND-BUKHARA Day will start visiting the famous observatory of Islamic world which influenced the world astronomy and encouraged the astronomy school of Korea, China, Jaipur, and it is called Ulugbek's observatory. The ruins observatory in Samarkand stands as a testament to the remarkable scientific achievements of the Islamic world. Built in the 15th century by the renowned astronomer and scholar, Ulugbek, this observatory was a hub of knowledge and intellectual exploration during the golden age of Islamic civilization. Afterwards itinerary will be followed to Afrosiyob museum (pre Islamic period and city of Sogdian merchants of silk road where can be seen wall of frescos which were found within the site), then to Shakhi-I-Zinda walk along the narrow lanes, lined with beautifully carved facades and delicate geometric patterns. Each mausoleum tells a unique story, commemorating the lives of various members of the Timurid dynasty and prominent figures from the past. BUKHARA-KHIVA Bukhara to Khiva 8 hours of journey through the Kizil Kum desert the sixteenth largest desert in the world where once upon time main branches of the Silk Road was crossing by caravans from China to Rome or vs by turning Uzbekistan into the crossroad of Silk Road. Along the journey time to time appear short dunes and historical and an ancient river Amu Darya which was named "Oxus" by the Greek conquerors under the lead of Alexander the Great in 329 B.C. Lunch will be in the middle of desert in only and lonely "Chaykhana" meeting point of travelers like once upon time merchants stopped in only "Caravanserai" in vast desert. A vast green apple orchard, cotton fields, and massive agricultural areas let you know about the last hour of this journey before arriving at the Oases of Khiva. Upon arrival time to fresh and up in the hotel before initial explore Khiva on the way to dinner.
KHIVA Khiva adventures commence walking around of Khiva's fortified mud wall then walking in for enjoying inner city called "Ichan Kala", with monuments such as Kalta Minor minaret, Kunya Ark Palace, Okshaykh Bobo watching tower, interior of Kazikhana, madrassah Muhammad Rahimkhan II, mausoleum of Said Allauddin, after the lunch visiting a famous "Wood carving workshop" and a Grand Juma Mosque, Pakhalavan Makhmud mausolem, Islom Khodja madrassah and minaret. DAY 7 t. KHIVA-TASHKENT Tashkent tour will be continued to the famous bazaar of old town Chorsu which Asian trade with haggling and energy of liveness makes it special place to visit. After we can take the Toshkent metro. A marvel of stations will be followed by the museum " Applied art of Uzbekistan" and Opera, and ballet theatre "Alisher Navoi".
