Day 1: Almaty to Almaty, Kazakhstan

We can try skating on the ideally smooth ice of Medeo skating rink. Medeo is one of the best and biggest ski resorts in Central Asia. It's a high-altitude sports complex located at an altitude of 1691 meters above sea level in the mountains of Almaty. The area surrounded by hills with fur trees is covered with snow, Fresh air, and the atmosphere of relaxation makes citizens and guests of Almaty come here again and again.

Renting costs for skating facilities are included. On holidays the price for entrance and facilities might be higher. The certain price is upon request.

What to know

It is recommended to have special water-protected clothes for skiing. Sunglasses for snowy places and some additional clothes (socks, sweater).
