About this tour

Route: Bishkek - Chon-Kemin Valley - Bishkek - Suusamyr Valley - Bishkek

According to the traditions of the Kyrgyz, the place of honor in the yurt – opposite the entrance, was provided for the wise aksakals, respected guests, and leading biys-leaders. As if listening to these traditions, in the northernmost upper region of the country – the Chuy region, most of the economic, human, and transport resources are concentrated, and most importantly, the capital of the country – the city of Bishkek. The region's name comes from the Chu River, which means " water " from the Chinese "Shu" means "water", and which is the natural border between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

Tourist attractions in addition to the capital include The Kyrgyz Ala-Too Mountains – the final part of the western Tien-Shan, which store such natural resources as the Ala-Archa National Park, Alamedin, Kegety, Shamshy, Ysyk-Ata Gorges, Uchitel, Korona, Aitmatov Peaks, varying above 4000 meters above sea level; The ancient settlements of Balasagun and Ak-Beshim, as a monument to the existence of the Great Silk Road and Central Asian philosophy; The Chon-Kemin valley, immersed in the Tien-Shan firs, and the heavenly valley of Suusamyr at an altitude of 2200 m above sea level, where thousands of yurts continue the nomadic philosophy of the Kyrgyz.

In this tour, in three days, making company on the way to Kyrgyz Ala-Too, we will plunge into the village atmosphere of Chon-Kemin and ride a horse and drink koumiss, into the nomadic world of Suusamyr.
