Soltanieh Dome

Day 1: Tabriz, Iran to Zanjan, Iran

The dome is located five miles east of Zanjan inside the fort of the old city of Soltanieh and is an octagonal building with a length of 80 yards on each side. It also has eight minarets around the dome; And it is the oldest double-domed dome in Iran. The color of the dome is blue. A tall dome is written on these sides. The height of the building is 48.5 meters and the diameter of its inner opening is 25.5 meters. In the upper part of the building, the room and the pavilion are surrounded. The dome itself is made of turquoise color control tiles and the ceiling inside the upper rooms is decorated with colorful bedding and bricks.
