This south RN7 road tour to Toliara will take you along highlands, dramatic mountains, dry savannah, Baobabs, and thorny forests. You will be wowed by the scenery along the way. From exploring the unusual features, forests, wildlife, cultures, and customs to a relaxing beach holiday in the tropical sunshine. With the National Parks listed on this tour, you will be able to see the highlights of Madagascar, by discovering the culture and the unique wildlife in their natural habitat. Ranomafana National Park is best for its different Lemur and bird species, home to eight lemur species including the Golden bamboo, eastern Grey bamboo, and other insects such as the Giraffe weevil. Isalo National Park with it beautiful landscapes; canyons, gorges, and natural pools. Spot the sunset at Isalo Windows, Isalo Queens. On the way, we have a short visit to Zombitse Park to discover another species of Lemur and view some nice Baobabs trees.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ivato International Airport, Antananarivo, Madagascar to Antananarivo, Madagascar
Meet you upon your arrival at Ivato International Airport. You will find us after the arrival process, with your name with company logo on hand. Transfer you to your hotel in the center after all the process. Overnight at Havana Resort Hotel./similar
Day 2: Antananarivo Renivohitra, Antananarivo, Madagascar to Antsirabe, Madagascar
Today, after your breakfast. Leave the Hotel to Antsirabe two for 4hrs drive on rn7. Visit the Aluminium factory at Ambatolampy to see how the product kitchen materials with melted aluminum. Continuous to Antsirabe after the visit and the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight at Ecolodge de Voyageur /similar.
Day 3: Antsirabe I, Madagascar to Ranomafana National Park, Madagascar
This morning, we'll ride on Pouss-Pouss (rickshaws) to visit the town and discover the precious stones of Madagascar, the Zebu horn factory, and the intricate miniature crafts. Continuous out on Rn7 to Ambositra village where we will have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Malagasy meal and then see a folk dance at the Hotel Artisan. After lunch, we will visit the open handy craft market. We will arrive at Ranomafana village in the afternoon and be ready for an evening walk. Around 6 pm, we meet the local guide to show us the nocturnal wildlife. You should look forward to the Mouse Lemur, Frogs, Chameleons, Etc. Overnight at Therma Hotel /similar.
Day 4: Ranomafana National Park, Madagascar to Fianarantsoa I, Madagascar
After your morning breakfast. We then drive up to the park gate to get our entrance tickets and meet our private local guide. Here the visit will take us about 4 hours of hiking up the rainforest Montagne. Ranomafana National Park is a tropical forest that shelters lemurs, frogs, reptiles, and rare birds that are endemic to Madagascar. Back to the Hotel for lunch and the afternoon drive up to Fianarantsoa for 2hrs drive back to the main road n°7. Overnight at Zoma Hotel /similar
Day 5: Fianarantsoa, Madagascar to Isalo National Park, Sakamalio, Madagascar
Today, we will explore this city rich in history and know-how. First, we will visit the old palace to learn the royal story and the Betsileo tribe customs. Continuous out to Ambalavao village where you will visit the local Arabian 'Paper' called "Antemoro paper factory. -Visit ANJA reserve where you have a chance to watch troupes of Ring-tailed lemurs on the granite boulders. Here also we will have lunch before heading out to Isalo. We will arrive at Ranohira village in the late afternoon. Check-in at the Hotel and the rest of the day at your leisure. Day 6: Isalo National Park, Sakamalio, Madagascar to Toliara Centre, Toliara, Madagascar
Start our visit with a speaking local guide who will take us on a 3-hour hike through a fascinating canyon art museum. You will admire the amazing landscapes and refresh in the natural lagoon in the middle of the rock. At 11:30 a.m., we'll head back to rest and enjoy a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant. we'll leave Ranohira village and embark on a scenic 4-hour drive to Toliara city. Once there, we'll explore the vibrant craft market and wander through the city center. If you're up for it, we can also head over to Ifaty Beach for some relaxation. Day 7: Aéroport de Tuléar, Toliara, Madagascar to Antananarivo, Madagascar
We will find you a flight that leaves in the afternoon. So that you will have a half day morning to spot the beach of Mozambique channel. -Visit the Tortoise Village including the Babaob trees. Transfer you back to the airport for checking to Tana. Once you arrive at the Airport of Antananarivo, our service ends.
