Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Душанбе, Таджикистан to Дарвазский район, Таджикистан
We begin our adventure in Dushanbe, the heart of Tajikistan. After a traditional breakfast, we depart for the majestic Pamir mountains. Our first major stop is the city of Kulob to see the historical sites. Along the way, we will stop for an authentic lunch to taste local Shurbo or Plov. By evening, we arrive in Darvaz, the 'Gateway to the Pamirs'. We will settle into a local guesthouse to experience true Pamiri hospitality and enjoy a traditional dinner by the Panj River, overlooking the Afghan border.
