The High-mountain Plateau Assy

Day 1: Almaty, Kazakhstan

The big plus of this route is that you will see all the delights of the Turgen gorge and the velvet huge plateau of Assy at an altitude of 2750 m will become "the cherry on the cake". You will see thousands of herds of sheep and cows, and countless herds of horses. You will get to know the flora and fauna of the Turgen gorge, learn the history of the Kazakh people and hear a lot of interesting things about the Tien Shan mountain country. You will have the opportunity to take a picture near the huge telescope of the Assy Astrophysical Laboratory. We will make a rest stop and a picnic to enjoy the purest mountain air. And you can have dinner at the trout farm, where you will catch a fish with your own hands, and it will be cooked right in front of you.
