The proposed tour is an exciting journey through Kyrgyzstan, combining the beauty of nature and cultural heritage. You will start in the capital, Bishkek, then head to the high-altitude Son-Kul Lake, surrounded by picturesque pastures. Next, you will find Naryn, the administrative center of the region of the same name, and Eki-Naryn, a picturesque place with a rich history. After that, you will visit Kochkor, famous for its crafts, and go to the pearl of Kyrgyzstan – Lake Issyk-Kul, the second largest alpine lake in the world. Karakol, with its unique architecture and rich history, and in Cholpon Ata, a resort town on the shores of Issyk Kul. An unforgettable experience of exploring the culture, nature and history of Kyrgyzstan awaits you.
After breakfast meeting and acquaintance with the guide at the hotel. Then transfer we start our driving to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan - Son Kul Lake. It is known for its beauty, high location and as a summer grazing place for nomads. Son-Kul is located at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters above sea level, which makes it one of the highest lakes in Kyrgyzstan. On route we visit Burana Tower (an 11th century minaret) and an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). The lunch is on the way. Upon arrival, we have time to explore the Son-Kul lake. Optionally horse riding. Dinner and overnight in yurts.
After breakfast we drive to Oruk-Tam village through the picturesque pass. We have lunch in Naryn city. Then continue driving to Oruk-Tam village. The road to Oruk-Tam village runs through the beautiful Kichi-Naryn gorge. The Kichi-Naryn Gorge is famous for its picturesque pass leading to the Naryn city, as well as its unique high-mountain nature and for its steep serpentines and breathtaking panoramic views. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.
In the morning we drive to Kochkor village. On the way we have the lunch. Then continue driving to Bokonbaeva village, where we meet a local eagle-hunter. In the evening we arrive to yurt camp near to the shore of Issyk-Kul lake. It is the second largest alpine lake in the world (1607-1609 m above sea level). Lake Issyk-Kul is known as the "Pearl of Kyrgyzstan" due to its beauty, healing properties and historical monuments. It is one of the largest and deepest high-altitude lakes in the world, famous for its clear, brackish water and picturesque landscapes. We can walk along the shore of Issyk-Kul and swim in the lake. Dinner and overnight in a yurt camp.
Today we drive to beautiful Jeti Oguz gorge. Jeti-Oguz is known for its picturesque gorge, rocks resembling seven bulls, a resort with healing springs and beautiful waterfalls. The gorge is a popular tourist route and a place where you can see natural attractions and enjoy the beauty of the nature of the Tien Shan. Then we continue our way to Karakol. We visit the Dungan mosque built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail and an old wooden Orthodox Church. Dinner in local café. Overnight in the hotel.
Today we drive along the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. On the way, in Cholpon-Ata we have lunch and visit the open-air museum of petroglyphs. The petroglyphs are known as a large open-air museum, where stone carvings of various eras and cultures are collected. These petroglyphs, dating from 2000 B.C. to the 4th century A.D., depict animals, hunting scenes, war, and festivities. They are an important evidence of the history and culture of the nomadic peoples who lived on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul. Then we continue our way to Bishkek.
In the morning is transfer to airport.
