Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Departure from .............. Arrival time in Tashkent Meet our driver at the airport gate. Transfer to the hotel. Welcome to hospitable Uzbekistan, a country of rich history, culture and ancient architecture.
Day 2: Tashkent, Uzbekistan to Samarkand, Uzbekistan
Tashkent 10:00 Sightseeing program in the center of Tashkent. Independence Square Amir Timur Square Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Theater Museum of Applied Arts 13:00 Lunch break Khasti Imam Complex - a historical landmark, where we will see the oldest Osman Koran in the world. Old City Chor-Su Market (one of the largest bazaars in Tashkent). We will go there by Tashkent metro Duration of the excursion: 5-6 hours 17:00 Light welcome dinner in a national restaurant. 18:00 Transfer to Tashkent train station 19:30 Departure of the train from Tashkent 22:10 Arrival in Samarkand At the exit, you will be met by our driver with a sign "OSMON TRAVEL" Transfer Time to rest Overnight at a hotel in Samarkand.
Day 3: Samarkand, Uzbekistan to Bukhara, Uzbekistan
Samarkand 10:00 Sightseeing tour of Samarkand. Gur-Emir Mausoleum ("Emir's Tomb"). Registan Square, which was the center of Samarkand for centuries. Registan Square is a complex of three monuments: Ulugbek Madrasah (15th century), Sher-Dor Madrasah (17th century) and Tillya-Kari Madrasah (17th century). 13:00 Lunch break Bibi Khanym Mosque (15th century) was the largest mosque in Central Asia Sub Bazaar Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, where you will see a complex of more than twenty buildings, the only one in Central Asia. Ulugbek Observatory - a unique structure of the 15th century, currently there is a fragment of the measuring device "Sulche Fakhri" The Mausoleum of the Prophet Daniel - a holy place of worship for three religions Muslim, Christian and Jewish Afrasiab Museum - Ancient City of Samarkand Kunya Meros Paper Factory (recreated manual production of ancient paper from mulberry tree, here you will see the entire process of paper production) 18:00 Dinner in a national restaurant 20:30 Transfer to the Samarkand railway station 22:10 Departure from Samarkand to Bukhara by train 00:00 Arrival in Bukhara At the exit you will be met by our driver with a sign "OSMON TRAVEL Transfer to the hotel". Day 4: Bukhara, Uzbekistan
Bukhara Breakfast at the hotel 10:00 Excursion program Start of the sightseeing tour of Bukhara: Visit to the Mausoleum of Ismail Samani Mausoleum of Chashma Ayub (Job's Well), located near the Samanid Mausoleum. Visit to the Bolo Khaus Mosque of the 18th-20th centuries Ark Fortress, the citadel of the Emir of Bukhara. 13:00 Lunch at a local teahouse Continuation of the sightseeing tour: The Poi Kalyan Complex includes - Kalyan Mosque and Kalyan Minaret, Mir-Arab Madrasah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrasah, Ancient Trading Domes Tea tasting in the national house of an Uzbek family Magoki-Attori Mosque of the 12th century The Lyabi Khaus complex, consisting of three architectural monuments: the Kukeldash Madrasah, the Nodir Divan Begi Madrasah and the 17th century Khanaka Madrasah. Day 5: Bukhara, Uzbekistan to Khiva, Uzbekistan
Breakfast at the hotel 10:00 Excursion program in the suburbs of Bukhara. Chor-Minor Madrasah. Bahuddin Naqshband - Sufi founder Sitorai Mohi Khosa - Summer Palace of the Emir of Bukhara. Lunch Chorbakr Necropolis 16:00 Departure from Bukhara to Khiva by comfortable car 19:00 On the way to Khiva we will make stops for Dinner at the teahouse “Zahratun” 00:00 Arrival in Khiva Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, rest Night at the hotel in Khiva
Day 6: Khiva, Uzbekistan to Tashkent, Uzbekistan
10:00 Khiva Tour Khiva's old town, known as Ichan Kala, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit a carpet workshop. You will see palaces with rich mosaics, uniquely beautiful minarets, madrassas and mosques, such as: Kunya-Ark Fortress, Pakhlavan Mahmud Complex, Tash-Khavli Palace (Harem), Kalta-Minor Minaret, Islam Khoja Complex. Lunch at the National House Teahouse (on your own). Visit wood carving and carpet workshops. 12:00 Lunch at the teahouse. Continuation of the excursion program: Juma Mosque and Minaret, Caravanserai, Khoja Islam Minaret and Mosque, Ala-Kuli Khan Temple, Abdullah Khan Madrasah, Seyid Allauddin Mausoleum, Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, Muhammad Rahim Khan Madrasah. Walls and gates. Duration of the excursion: 5 hours 18:00 Transfer to Urgench International Airport. 21:00 Departure from Urgench 22:20 Arrival in Tashkent Transfer to Tashkent International Airport for further flight home
