Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Chennai, India
Today you will arrive at Chennai International Airport in South India. During your arrival, our representative will welcome you and provide you with the necessary support. After this, you will be transferred to your hotel in a comfortable car. If time is left, then spend the rest of the time in the vicinity wandering the glare of the local markets.
Day 2: Chennai, India to Mahabalipuram, India
After having breakfast this morning, you will go for a trip to Kapaleeshwarar Temple. This beautiful temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built in the seventh century. After this, you will start your journey to Mahabalipuram. On the way, you will stop at Kanchipuram which is a tourist place where a grand ancient temple is present. Tourists come from far away to see the architectural sculpture and sculpture of these beautiful temples, after which you will continue your journey and reach Mahabalipuram by noon. You spend the rest of your time wandering here and there.
Day 3: Mahabalipuram, India to Puducherry, India
Today in the morning you will first see the famous five chariots of Mahabalipuram which is a complex chariot shaped sculpture made of granite stones, this place was built in the seventh century. Day 4: Puducherry, India to Thanjavur, India
Today by breakfast in the morning, you will travel to your next destination Tanjore. On the way, you will visit the temples of Chidambaram Swamimalai and Gangaikonda Cholapuram. Day 5: Thanjavur, India to Madurai, India
Today, you will travel from Tanjore to Madurai, you will stop near the city of Tiruchirappalli and go for sightseeing. There is a famous Srirangam temple which is built in Tamil-style architecture. There is another temple in agriculture itself which is known as Rockfort Temple. The beautiful temple is built on top of a huge rock. In the afternoon you will reach Madurai to check in the hotel and take some time to rest. In the evening you will visit the Meenakshi Temple, the main attraction of Madurai. In this temple, you will be able to see amazing sculptures and paintings, during this time you will also participate in the Aarti ceremony to be held in the evening every day.
Day 6: Madurai, India
Today you will visit the major sightseeing places in Madurai. Visit the Tirumalai Nayak Mahal. Purna Veeram This palace is built in a mixture of Islamic and Dravidian style and its beauty is extremely breathtaking. It was built in the 17th century. After this, you will go to the Vandiyur Mariamman Temple.
Day 7: Madurai, India to Periyar National Park, India
Today, we will travel to Periyar National Park in the morning. Pyaar National Park is a huge forest reserve of 900 sq km which has been constructed for the conservation of parts and elephants. Many species of beautiful birds are found here in addition to wildlife of various species. In the afternoon you will ride by boat inside the lake located in the middle of this sanctuary. Here you can see rare tree plants and aquatic birds. In the evening you will go to see a martial arts show called Kalaripayattu.
Day 8: Periyar National Park, India
After breakfast today you will go to a place where you will get a golden opportunity to spend time with elephants. Here you can ride elephants, feed them and help them prepare their food. Here you can bathe elephants. Here you will also get the opportunity to do beautiful painting on elephants which is an important tradition according to the traditions of South India. In the afternoon you will visit the gardens of copy and spices. In the evening you will go to dinner at the home of a local family where you will also be taught to cook Indian special dishes. Day 9: Periyar National Park, India to Alappuzha, India
Today after breakfast in the morning, you will travel to Alleppey. This place is also known as Venice of the East because there is a network of backwater districts and canals. By arriving here you will check in to your houseboat. In the afternoon you will proceed from the roof of the houseboat, looking at the beautiful views around. In the evening you will have dinner in the houseboat and spend a comfortable night.
Day 10: Alappuzha, India to Kochi, India
After breakfast this morning you will travel to Kochi. Kochi is also known as the Jews' Paradise. People from the Jewish community will usually be seen here who speak Spanish. Apart from this, you will also get to see 10 magnificent buildings built-in style, here you will also visit a picture gallery where you will get the opportunity to see ancient valuable paintings. In the afternoon you will go to see the program of Kathakali dance which is a major part of the culture of Kerala.
Day 11: Kochi, India
