Day 1: Tunis, Tunisie to Tozeur, Tunisie
Your adventure begins early at 5:00 a.m. – meeting point in front of Hotel El Hanna International on Avenue Habib Bourguiba, Tunis. El Jem Amphitheater – Visit the magnificent second-largest Roman colosseum in the world (after Rome's). Matmata troglodyte village – Step into another world. Visit a Berber family in their unique underground dwelling. Sip refreshing mint or rosemary tea as your hosts share their traditions. Hotel Sidi Driss (Star Wars) – Star Wars fans rejoice! Walk in the footsteps of George Lucas and feel cinematic history come alive. Douz (Gateway to the Sahara) – Explore sweeping sand dunes near Douz. Sunset over the dunes – Witness a breathtaking sunset over the golden dunes. Desert camp (Sabria) – Head to your camp for a traditional Tunisian dinner, campfire music, and storytelling (subject to group size). Overnight: Shared Bedouin tent under the stars
Day 2: Tozeur, Tunisie to Tunis, Tunisie
Wake to a desert sunrise and enjoy breakfast at the camp. Chott el-Jérid – Spectacular photo stop at North Africa's largest salt lake, shimmering like a mirage. Chebika mountain oasis – Lose yourself in this enchanting paradise. Towering palm trees, crystal-clear waterfalls, and lush gardens hidden in the rocky mountains. Kairouan (holy city) – Panoramic tour of the first Islamic capital of North Africa. Then, continue back to your departure point in Tunis, where your adventure concludes.
