Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan
In the morning our guide will meet you at the Airport and take you straight to National Park Chon-Kemin. Chon-Kemin gorge is one of the biggest in Kyrgyzstan, which settles around the mountain ridge of the Chon-Suu River. Chon-Suu River is very popular among local trout fishers because of its brown and rainbow trout. Guesthouse you are going to is in a small impressive gorge with cottages on the outskirts of the wood. In that place, you can have a rest from the town noise and enjoy nature. By arrival time you will have a tasty breakfast with berry jams picked in that mountain gorge. After breakfast, you will have time for a shower and rest. In the afternoon you’ll get an unforgettable 2 hours Horseback riding Tour, which will pass through the miracle pine wood and rivulets and you’ll get to the top of the mountain with a panoramic view of Chon-Kemin gorge. You’ll have a national cuisine dinner at the Guesthouse. Guesthouse stays for the night.
Day 2: Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan to Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, you’ll go to Issyk-Kul Lake which is called the Pearl of Central Asia through the Boom gorge. That Lake is the second-largest mountainous lake in the World. It is surrounded by the Kyrgyz ridges. The lunch is at the local café. When you get to the hotel which is close to the Lake you can go to the beach for a swim and a sunbath. Dinner and stay for the night at a hotel.
Day 3: Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan to Jeti Oguz, Kyrgyzstan
Visit of the extraordinary gorge Zheti-Oguz which is translated as Seven Bulls. Those mountains consist of the red sandstone because they are surrounded by the birch and pine woods. On the way to that gorge you’ll stop by Grigoryev and Kyrchyn beautiful gorges. The International Nomad Games took place at Kyrchyn Gorge so there are still wood structures left after the games. Later you’ll go to Karakol town where you’ll visit Dungan Mosque which was made from the wood without using any metal nail. Also there you’ll see an old Christian Church. Lunch at the local café where you’ll taste Dungan cold dish called Ashlyan-fu. By the evening time you’ll come to the Urt Camp on the Kok-Jayik meadow at the Zhheti-Oguz gorge. Dinner and night stay at the Urt Camp.
Day 4: Jeti Oguz, Kyrgyzstan to Barskoon, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, you’ll have time to enjoy the amazing local nature, walk and get good content for yourself. Further, your way goes to the Fairy Tale gorge where you’ll see extraordinary landscapes which you can compare with the Chinese Great Wall or with different kinds of animals, or even with a different planet. The next is the Barskoon gorge where you’ll enjoy amazing views of Kyrgyz nature and also you’ll see beautiful waterfalls. Dinner and night stay at the Barskoon gorge Urt Camp or guesthouse
Day 5: Barskoon, Kyrgyzstan to Song Kol Lake, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, our guide will take you to the high-altitude mountainous Son-Kul Lake. On the way, you’ll see the Orto-Tokoi reservoir which provides water to the half of Chui region. You’ll also see extraordinary landscapes. Lunch at the Kochkor town. The road to Son-Kul will pass through 32 Parrots Pass whose name came from the number of serpentines leading to the top. By arrival time, before and after dinner you’ll get to know the Kyrgyz nomad style of life and will have time for a walk around the area. Stay at the Urt Camp
Day 6: Song Kol Lake, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek City, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, you’ll have time for a walk to the lake and enjoy nature. The Lake is situated at 3016 meters above sea level around mountain ridges and green grass, there are no trees because of the altitude. Also, you can see many house pets: horses, cows, and sheep from the whole region. If you are lucky you can also meet yaks. That area is very good grazing. Also, there’re a lot of Urt Camps, Herdsmen Camps, and Tourist Camps because that place is very popular among tourists. After a tasty lunch, you’ll go to the capital. In Bishkek, you’ll visit one of the souvenir stores where you can buy national souvenirs for yourself and your relatives. Dinner in one of the best restaurants in Bishkek. Accommodation in Hotel.
Day 7: Bishkek City, Kyrgyzstan to Manas International Airport, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
