Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Dashoguz, Turkmenistan to Derweze, Turkmenistan
Day 1.Departure from Khiva at 7:00 am. Travel by car across the border of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Arrival in Kunya Urgench at 11:00-12:00 am Lunch in a traditional Turkmen restaurant in Kunya Urgench. After lunch Visit to the historical and cultural museum-reserve "Old Urgench" Inspection of Kutlugu Timur mausoleum (11th-12th centuries), Turabek Khanum mausoleum (14th century), Tekesh mausoleum (13th century), Il-Arslan mausoleum (12th century), Atabek caravanserai (13th century) and other historical monuments. Walk around the ancient city В 14:00-15:00 Transfer to Darvaz crater Visit the famous "Hell's Gate" - burning natural gas Dinner and overnight stay in a yurt in the Karakum desert.

Ashgabat-Yangikala canyon 6:00 - Departure from Ashgabat 7:00 - Arrival at Turkmenbashi airport 10:30 - Arrival in Yangikala 10:30 - 12:30 - Walk through Yangikala Canyon 12:30 - Lunch sandwiches (take your own) Evening Transfer to Gozli Ata Accommodation in guesthouses Dinner and free time **Possible changes in the itinerary:** * If you want to save time, you can take lunch with you from Turkmenbashi. * Dress in comfortable shoes as you will have a lot of walking to do. * Don't forget to bring sunscreen and a hat

Day 5. Serdarabat-Turkmenistan- Ashgabat 11:00 - Transfer to Nokhur. Visit to Nokhur tribal cemetery and pilgrimage site; silk weaving house). 13:00 - Lunch in a cafe in Kov Ata. On the way visit Kov Ata - underground lake, water in which all year round 36 degrees. 15:00 - Departure to Ashgabat. 18:00 - Arrival in Ashgabat. Visit to Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum, the main shrine of Turkmenistan. 20:00 - Dinner in a restaurant in Ashgabat. 23:00 - Accommodation in a hotel in Ashgabat. Day6 - Ashgabat, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

Day 7: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Türkmenistan Mary, Mary, Turkmenistan
Day 7. Ashgabat-Merv 08:00 Departure from Ashgabat by car. Travel time is about 4 hours. 12:00 Arrival in Merv. Lunch in a restaurant of local cuisine. 13:00 Visit to the ruins of the ancient city of Merv, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. 17:00 Departure to Hotel Ak yol on the way to Turkmenabad 19:00 Arrival. Check-in at the hotel "Ak yol". Dinner at the hotel
Day 8: Merv, Turkmenistan to Turkmenabat, Turkmenistan
Day 8. Merv-Turkmenabat 7:00 - Breakfast at the hotel 8:00 - Departure from Turkmenabad 10:00 - Arrival at the bazaar in Turkmenabad. 12:30 - Lunch in one of the cafes in the bazaar. 13:30 - Crossing the border between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
