Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ashgabat International Airport, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
Sightseeing tour of Ashgabat. . We visit the historical museum and the carpet museum with a magnificent collection of handmade carpets. The museums are magnificently presented with impressive exhibits from all over Turkmenistan. Huge beautiful national alleys with countless fountains. Visit to the Tower of Independence, the Tower of Neutrality. Night at the hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Kow Ata, Turkmenistan
After breakfast further excursion around the city. First we will visit Ashgabat hippodrome. we go to the hotel. Night at the hotel. We continue our way to the Kov-Ata dungeon. The famous Bakharden cave is located, in which the equally famous underground lake Kov-Ata is located. The name of the lake is translated as "father of caves". The fame of this place is associated not so much with the beauty of the underground nature, but with the healing properties of the water. In the evening we go to the hotel. Night at the hotel.
Day 3: Kow Ata, Turkmenistan to Mary, Turkmenistan
After breakfast we go to Nisa, the former Parthian capital, treasuries and residences (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Arrival to Mary around lunchtime via the ruined city of Abiverd. The Abiverd settlement is one of the eight historical reserves of Turkmenistan, along with Keneurgench, Nisa, Merv, Dakhistan and others. Stop for sightseeing Upon arrival in Mary, check-in at the hotel. In the evening, a short excursion around the city of Mary with stops at the Congress Hall, the Juma Mosque and the Central Museum and the National Library. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Mary, Turkmenistan to Merv, Turkmenistan
Our journey continues to Merv, once the most impressive city in Central Asia during the early Silk Road trade. We will spend the day exploring the ruins of Merv (UNESCO World Heritage Site), such as the Mausoleum of the last Seljuk Sultan Sultan Sanjar and Kirk-Kiz Gala and the ancient kingdom of Margush. In the evening, return to Ashgabat and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Merv, Turkmenistan to Derweze, Turkmenistan
In the morning we visit the Asgabad Mall and Berkarar. In the afternoon we head north through the Karakum Desert via the Erbent Oasis to Darvaza. Near the former settlement of Darvaza is one of Turkmenistan's greatest landmarks, the Burning Crater (Gates of Hell). The Burning Crater is a gigantic spectacle. The glow of the fire is visible at a distance of several kilometers. In the evening we return back to the city. Night at the hotel.
Day 6: Derweze, Turkmenistan to Развлекательный центр "Gala", Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
In the afternoon we head to the Gala entertainment center. The Gala cultural and entertainment center has become one of the most visited places for cultural recreation. This center is located at the foot of the Kopetdag, which gives a special charm to the atmosphere and "The Ferris wheel is installed in a snow-white glass and steel case in the ensemble of the building of the cultural and entertainment center "Elem".
