About this tour

On this 7-night, 8-day tour you will get to experience several of the highlights of Western Bhutan, as well as an incredible opportunity to trek to Laya, which is one of the world's highest and most remote settlements. The Laya people are known for their unique style of dress and highlander approach to life, which to a great extent centers on the hunt for cordyceps–a treasured source of traditional Himalayan medicine. On the way up, we'll stop at a site for natural hot springs and soak in the healing waters.
