If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, you need a holiday in the mountains at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level and a beautiful view of the lake.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan
Meeting at the airport or hotel, small city tour. Lunch in the city and departure to Kochkor. Dinner and overnight in Kochkor.
Day 2: Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan to Kilemche, Kyzart, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, a master class on felt products at the client’s request, departure to Kilemche, the lunch in the form of a picnic along the way. Dinner and overnight in Kilemche.
Day 3: Kilemche, Kyzart, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
Son-Kul Lake is a picturesque alpine lake situated in the midst of Tian Shan mountains; its name translates as “The Last Lake”. It is located at the altitude of 3016 meters above sea level and its depth reaches 22 meters in some spots. Son-Kul is the largest natural freshwater body in Kyrgyzstan.
Day 4: Song Kol Lake, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
The lake is situated in a mountain plain surrounded by meadows. These meadows, or zhailoo, as the locals call them, have been used as grazing fields for livestock since the ancient times. Numerous petroglyphs found at the shore of the lake are the evidence of that. Local shepherds bring livestock to the lake for the summer and stay in yurts (traditional Kyrgyz felt dwellings) with their families.
Day 5: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek City, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, departure to Bishkek. On the way, stop at the Burana Tower. Lunch on the way to Bishkek.
