Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Dashoguz racetrack, Dashoguz, Turkmenistan to Darvaza Gas Crater - "Door to Hell", Derweze, Turkmenistan
Our guide will meet you at the border and handle all the necessary document procedures. Then, you will board a comfortable vehicle and head to Kunya-Urgench to immerse yourself in the ancient history of the region. After the tour, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local café. Next, we will head to the fascinating gas crater, where you will have a stunning photo session against the backdrop of the flames. In the evening, we will offer you a traditional dinner of your choice (dinner is free of charge). You will spend the night in a cozy yurt (new, with tourists sleeping separately in their own yurt; new sleeping bags and blankets are also provided free of charge).
Day 2: Darvaza Gas Crater - "Door to Hell", Derweze, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
Day Two After a traditional and delicious breakfast (which is also provided free of charge), we will head to our beautiful capital, Ashgabat. On the way, before check-in, we will offer you a delightful coffee at our friends’ café (coffee is also free of charge). After checking into the hotel (3-4 stars, with optimal pricing — cleanliness and comfort guaranteed, and for those desiring luxury, there is always the option of a 5-star or deluxe room), you will have some time to relax and recharge. Afterward, we will enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by an exciting city tour of Ashgabat. We would love for you to appreciate the cleanliness, hospitality, and beauty of our capital. After the tour, you can relax and unwind in your room.
Day 3: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Merv, Turkmenistan
Day 3 The day begins with breakfast, after which we check out of the hotel and head to Mary. In this historic city, we will visit Merv, an ancient oasis listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will enjoy an exciting tour of the mausoleums and the ruins of the ancient city. After the tour, we will have lunch in a traditional style, allowing you to savor the flavors of local cuisine. Following lunch, we will travel to Turkmenabat (Chardzhou) and then proceed to the border, concluding our journey.
