Day 1: Туркменбаши, Туркменистан to Балканабат, Туркменистан

Day 1: Arrival, Welcome & Ride to the Foothills • Port Pick-up: Arrival at the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashi. Meet-and-greet with the guide, assistance with border/customs clearance, and processing of all necessary motorcycle paperwork. • The Ride Begins: Setting off from Turkmenbashi. Enjoy a scenic ride along the highway stretching beside the spectacular mountain foothills. • Drive: Turkmenbashi — Balkanabat (approx. 140 km). • Evening: Arrival in Balkanabat (the administrative center of the Balkan Region). • Accommodation & Rest: Check-in at the "Nebitchi" Hotel. Dinner and relaxation after the road.

Day 2: Балканабат, Туркменистан to Ашхабад, Туркменистан

Day 2: Balkanabat — The White Marble Capital of Ashgabat • Morning: Breakfast at the hotel, check-out. • Drive: Balkanabat — Ashgabat (approx. 400 km). The route runs along the picturesque ridges of the Kopetdag Mountain Range. • Arrival in the Capital: Entry into Ashgabat, a city listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the highest concentration of white marble buildings in the world. • Special Service (City Transport Policy): Upon entering the city limits, your motorcycle will be carefully loaded onto a tow truck and transported directly to the hotel (to comply with local urban traffic regulations regarding motorcycles). It houses ancient artifacts from old Parthia, rare Turkmen carpets, and historical gold treasures. o 11:30 – 13:00 — Experience local life at the famous Russian Bazaar ("Gulistan"). The drive through the Karakum takes about 6 hours (approx. 310 km). • Afternoon Program: o Arrival in Dashoguz city. o Lunch: A hearty lunch at a local restaurant, featuring regional specialty dishes. • Tour Conclusion: Transfer to the border checkpoint. Road Conditions & Off-Road Terrain Balkanabat to Ashgabat (~400 km): Smooth, scenic highway riding along the Kopetdag mountain range. Darvaza & Northern Highway (~580 km combined): The highway cutting north through the Karakum Desert toward Dashoguz features severe potholes and degraded asphalt. Off-Road Sand Track: The final stretch off the main highway into the Darvaza Gas Crater consists of soft sand tracks. Adventure touring bikes or dual-sport tires are strongly recommended; street bikes will require extra caution.
