Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ашхабад, Туркменистан
Arrival at Ashgabat International Airport. Meeting at the airport and private transfer to the hotel. • Rest at the hotel. • Continue with introductory tour of Ashgabat, covering selected main landmarks the Carpet Museum, where can explore the history of Central Asia’s carpet industry. • Continue with Ashgabat City tour: Independence Monument, Neutrality Arch, Earthquake Monument. • Gulistan Bazar, Independence monument, Neutrality Arch, Earthquake monument, Alem feris wheel. Constitution Monument. • Transfer to the hotel and rest.
Day 2: Ашхабад, Туркменистан to Дарваза Гас Кратер, Дарваза, Туркменистан
•After breakfast, begin the sightseeing program with a visit to the ruins of Nisa, dating back to the 3rd century BC - 3rd century AD. • At approximately 15:00, depart for Darvaza Gas Crater, around 270 km north of Ashgabat. • On the way, visit Bahardok or Erbent village and continue to the Water, Clay and Gas Craters. In the evening, enjoy the spectacular view of the Darvaza Gas Crater after sunset and stay overnight at the camp-site yurt.
Day 3: Дарваза Гас Кратер, Дарваза, Туркменистан to Ашхабад, Туркменистан
After breakfast at Darvaza, drive back to Ashgabat. • Upon arrival visit the Horse Farm to see Akhal-Teke horses, with a traditional tea break and short horse show where available. • Visit the National Museum of History and Ethnography. • Continue with visiting Gypjak Mosque and Turkmenistan first President Mausoleum. • Transfer to the hotel and rest.
Day 4: Ашхабад, Туркменистан to Мары, Туркменистан
After breakfast take a drive from Ashgabat to Mary City (350km). • Upon arrival brief city tour in Mary City visiting Local Bazar, and Orthodox Church built by Russians at the end of XIX century. • Then visit Old Merv (UNESCO World Heritage) after visit the main historical sites: Gyz Gala and Oglan Gala, Complex of Askhab, Gyaur Gala, Erk Gala, Soltan Gala, Soltan Sanjar Mausoleum and Ibn Zeid Mausoleum. • Then visiting Mary Museum. • Transfer to the hotel and rest.
Day 5: Мары, Туркменистан to Бухара, Узбекистан
After breakfast, drive to Turkmenabat upon arrival transfer to Turkmenistan/Uzbekistan border at Farap/Alat. • Complete border formalities and cross into Uzbekistan. • Meet the local driver on the Uzbekistan side of the Alat border checkpoint. • Drive to Bukhara and transfer to the hotel. • Depending on the actual border-crossing time, optional evening walk around Lyabi-Hauz and the historic Old City. Evening at leisure.
Day 6: Бухара, Узбекистан
After breakfast, full-day guided walking tour of historic Bukhara. • Visit Lyabi-Hauz Ensemble, Magoki Attori Mosque and the historic trading domes. • Continue to Ulugbek Madrasa and Abdulaziz Khan Madrasa. • Explore the Poi-Kalon Ensemble: Kalon Minaret, Kalon Mosque and Mir-i-Arab Madrasa exterior/accessible areas. • Visit the Ark Citadel and Bolo Hauz Mosque. • Continue to the Samanid Mausoleum and Chashma Ayub. • Return to the hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 7: Бухара, Узбекистан to Самарканд, Узбекистан
After breakfast, continue sightseeing in and around Bukhara. • Visit the Bahauddin Naqshbandi Memorial Complex, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the region. • Continue to Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, the former summer residence of the Emir of Bukhara. • Return to Bukhara and transfer to the railway station. • High-speed or best available train from Bukhara to Samarkand, subject to confirmed ticket availability. • Arrival in Samarkand, meet the driver and transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 8: Самарканд, Узбекистан
• After breakfast, full-day guided sightseeing of Samarkand. • Visit Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, the dynastic mausoleum of Amir Timur. • Explore Registan Square and its three monumental madrasas: Ulugbek, Sher-Dor and Tilla-Kari. • Continue to Bibi-Khanym Mosque and Siab Bazaar. • Visit the magnificent Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis. • Return to the hotel. Optional independent evening visit to illuminated Registan Square.
Day 9: Самарканд, Узбекистан to Ташкент, Узбекистан
After breakfast, continue sightseeing in and around Samarkand. • Visit the Ulugbek Observatory, one of the most important medieval astronomical sites in Central Asia. • Visit the Afrosiab Museum and archaeological area, subject to opening conditions. • Time permitting, visit the Mausoleum of the Prophet Daniel. • Transfer to Samarkand railway station and take the highspeed or best available train to Tashkent, subject to confirmed ticket availability. • Arrival in Tashkent and private transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 10: Ташкент, Узбекистан
Breakfast at hotel. • Morning and early-afternoon guided sightseeing of Tashkent, covering the main highlights: Khast Imam Complex, Chorsu Bazaar and the traditional Old Town area. • Continue to Independence Square, Amir Temur Square and selected architecturally decorated stations of the Tashkent Metro, according to timing. • Free time after the tour. • At approximately 17:00-17:30, private transfer to Tashkent International Airport. • Arrival at the airport in good time for check-in and departure formalities for Air China flight CA778 departing at 21:00. • End of services.

• To ensure proper rest, the Ashgabat hotel room is reserved from the previous night for guaranteed immediate check-in. • The itinerary intentionally preserves the full core sightseeing program in Bukhara and Samarkand and keeps the overnight stay at Darvaza. The main reductions are made in the Ashgabat/Mary general sightseeing and the Tashkent portion. • All included hotel accommodation is planned on a Twin/Double basis. Hotel names and room categories are subject to final confirmation and availability at the time of booking. • Train schedules and ticket availability in Uzbekistan are subject to the final 2026 operating schedule. If the preferred high-speed train is unavailable, the best practical alternative will be arranged without changing the overall route. • At the Farap/Alat border, the Turkmenistan vehicle/guide service ends on the Turkmen side and the Uzbekistan vehicle/guide service begins after border formalities on the Uzbekistan side. • Order of sightseeing may be adjusted for museum opening days, local events, weather, road conditions or operational reasons while preserving the core program.
