Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ashgabat International Airport, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Door to Hell, Derweze, Turkmenistan
Day 1: Ashgabat Darvaza Early morning arrival at Ashgabat International Airport. Free time in Ashgabat until the afternoon. Afternoon departure to Darvaza (271 km, 4.5 hours drive). The road is bad. Arrival at Darvaza Gas Crater before sunset. Dinner at the Yurt camp near the crater. Time to explore the Darvaza Burning Crater with the guide. Overnight at Darvaza in Yurts or tents.
Day 2: Door to Hell, Derweze, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat International Airport, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
Day 2: Darvaza Ashgabat. Breakfast at Darvaza Early morning return to Ashgabat (271 km, 4.5 hours drive). The road is bad. City tour of Ashgabat, including main destinations such as the National Museum and Monuments. Late evening transfer to Ashgabat International Airport for departure.
