Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
• Transfer to your hotel for check-in and rest. (Airport Guest House)
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park
• transfer to Kibale National Park
• Dinner and overnight stay at Kibale Forest Camp
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
• Early morning breakfast.
• Proceed to Kibale National Park for chimpanzee tracking.
• Embark on an exciting trek through the forest to encounter habituated chimpanzee families.
• After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch.
• In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk.
• Return to the lodge
Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
• After breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls Park
• Relax and enjoy the scenic views of the park.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Fort Murchison Lodge
Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Murchison Falls National Park
• Early morning breakfast.
• Embark on a game drive in the park
• In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls
• Return to the lodge
Day 6: Visit to the Top of Murchison Falls - Transfer to Jinja
• After breakfast, visit the top of Murchison Falls
• Overnight stay at Haven Eco River Lodge Jinja
Day 7: Source of the Nile and Adventure Activity in Jinja- Kampala/ Entebbe
• After breakfast, visit the Source of the Nile, where the river starts its journey to the Mediterranean Sea.
• You may do any of the below Optional activities (all depending on your departure flight from Entebbe):
• Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for departure.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe International Airport, Entebbe, Uganda to Entebbe, Uganda
Arrival: Upon your arrival, our guide will transfer you to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Airport Guest House (BB)
Day 2: Entebbe, Uganda to Kibale National Park Tourist Information, Kibale, Uganda
You will drive to Kibale National Park. The park is about 766 km2 in size with primarily moist evergreen forest. Kibale National Park is located in the Southern part of Uganda. It is a home to approximately 325 species of birds which include the olive long-tailed cuckoo, Western Green tinker bird, African and Green-breasted and African Grey Parrot. It is also a home to 13 species of primates, at least 60 other species of mammals. The visits to the park are mainly paid to the endangered chimpanzees. While visiting the Chimps you can get to see other primates including the red colobus monkey and the rare LHoest’s monkey. On arrival at the Lodge you will have lunch and later in the afternoon you can relax or do a community walk. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp
Day 3: Kibale National Park, Uganda
Today you will go for Chimpanzee tracking. This will be after you have had breakfast and after getting a briefing at the park headquarters. While tracking chimps you might spot other animals like the red and blue duikers, bush pigs, warthogs, buffalo and elephants. Various birds can also be spotted while on the trek. Return to the lodge for lunch, later visit Bigodi wetland. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.
Day 4: Kibale National Park, Uganda to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda
Have breakfast, and drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison Falls National Park is located in Masindi district in north western Uganda. You will arrive in time for lunch, have lunch and later go for an afternoon game drive where the driver/guide will help you spot various species of wildlife. This may include Buffalos, elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, kobs, Impalas among others. Dinner and overnight stay at Fort Murchison Lodge
Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda
Breakfast, go for a game drive, and return for lunch. In the afternoon get on a boat to the bottom of the falls. You might also spot crocodiles, Hippos, elephants and many others. You can hike to the top of the falls. Various birds might be spotted too, like the hornbills, bee-eaters, kingfishers and storks, Egyptian plover, Chestnut crowned sparrow weaver, Rock pranticole, Red winged grey warbler, Pulvus illadopsis among others. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 6: Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda to Jinja, Uganda
This will be for transfer to Jinja but will pass via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the Rhino tracking. Overnight at The Haven Eco River Lodge Jinja
Day 7: Jinja, Uganda to Entebbe International Airport, Entebbe, Uganda
You may do some of the optional activities here before setting off for Entebbe/ Kampala.
