About this tour
Kyrgyzstan is one of the most mountainous areas in the world, an interesting destination with a huge variety of beautiful landscapes. Experience a journey into the land of celestial mountains, crystal-clear rivers and lakes. We start our journey from the capital city and continue to the villages between mountains.
Our drive along the Bishkek-Osh highway displays the beautiful landscape of Tien-Shan Mountains. The picturesque Chychkan Gorge covered by lush vegetation; the Fir, Tien Shan Spruce Trees, juniper, wild barberry bushes and blackberries. Furthermore, is Arslanbob, the vast areas of wild walnut largest forest in the world, covering an area of over 60 000 hectares. After we will visit a unique architectural monument of the early Middle Ages “Tash-Rabat” caravanserai, one of the main archeological sites of Kyrgyzstan, which became a symbol of the mountain architecture.
On the mountains, the weather changes quickly, which is why warm cloth, sensible shoes and sun scream are recommended.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Manas International Airport, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Sheraton Bishkek, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Meet with guide, and transfer to the hotel. After some rest welcome dinner accompanied by a folklore band.
Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Ala Archa National Park, Бишкек, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast sightseeing of Bishkek. Visit History Museum, Ala-Too square, Panfilov Park, open air Gallery, Osh Bazaar. Lunch at local restaurant. PM. Drive to Ala-Archa Nature Park for excursion. The total area of the park is 19, 5 thousand sq. km., and its altitude ranges from about 1.500 meters at the entrance to a high of 4.895 meters. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in hotel. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 3: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Chychkan, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast drive to Chichkan gorge via Too-Ashuu Pass (3586 m) and Ala-Bel pass (3184 m). En route stop for picnic. You will enjoy beautiful view of jailoos and Tian-Shan mountains. Dinner and overnight in Chichkan.
Day 4: Chychkan, Kyrgyzstan to Sary-Chelek, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast drive to Sary -Chelek National Park which was founded in 1959 to protect and research the pristine natural landscapes — lowland steppes and ridges with snow-capped peaks. The lake itself is situated some 1873 meters above sea level. The waters often appear a greenish shade of blue — and make attractive photographs. He a walk around the park. Day 5: Sary-Chelek, Kyrgyzstan
Have a walk around the park. Lunch in Yurt or picnic around lake. Dinner at yurt/local
Day 6: Sary-Chelek, Kyrgyzstan to Arslanbob, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast transfer to Arslanbob, on arrival walk around the area. Arslanbob is large walnut forest located in the mountains of the Jalal-Abad region on the Ferghana and Chatkal ranges, at an altitude of 1700 meters. Its area about 700,000 hectares, and numerous walnuts, pistachio, almond, cherry plum, pear and many others grow on this vast territory (about 130 species of plants). Picnic near the Waterfall. Free time to enjoy surrounding areas. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 7: Arslanbob, Kyrgyzstan to Kazarman, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, drive to Kazarman via Jalalabat. Dinner and overnight in local houses. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 8: Kazarman, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, drive to the 2nd largest lake in Kyrgyzstan - Son-Kul Lake. Cross the mountain pass and enjoy a breathtaking view of the grassland highland plants along the road. Upon arrival, dinner and overnight in yurts. Horse riding is optional. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 9: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Tash-Rabat, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, drive to Naryn through Dolon pass and arrive at At-Bashi. Lunch in local cafe/house. After lunch visit the «Bosogo» gorge. Then drive to Tash-Rabat Caravanserai. Dinner and overnight in yurts. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 10: Tash-Rabat, Kyrgyzstan to Chatyr-Kol, Torugart, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, drive to the 3rd largest lake in Kyrgyzstan - Chatyr-Kol Lake. Lunch with lunch-boxes. Enjoy alpine plants near the Chatyr-Kol Lake at 3350m altitude. Dinner and overnight in tents/yurt. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 11: Chatyr-Kol, Torugart, Kyrgyzstan to Naryn, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, drive to Naryn city. On the way lunch at local house or cafe. After arriving in Naryn you have a nice trip to the Salkyn-Tor Gorge. Watch flowers in the gorge. Overnight in hotel Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 12: Naryn, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, drive to Bishkek. Lunch on the way in Kochkor. Dinner at local restaurant in Bishkek. Overnight in hotel. Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 13: Sheraton Bishkek, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Manas International Airport, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast transfer to Bishkek airport for home flight. After all formalities, see the group off.
