Day 1: Almaty, Kazakhstan to Bartogay Lake, Kazakhstan
Day 1 Departure from Almaty In the morning I will pick you up from the designated address and you will go to the Charyn Canyon (valley of castles), (220 km, about 3 hours), on the way there will be a stop near the market in the village of Bayseit where you can buy snacks and drinks Arrival to the valley of castles (tracking) Upon arrival, an excursion will begin from the parking lot (about 3-4 hours), you will be trekking (3 km in one direction) along the bottom of the canyon, at the end of the valley flows the Charyn River, in it you can cool off in hot weather, at the end of the valley near the river you can have a picnic, after lunch you will go back to the parking lot (3km), if you do not want to walk, then you can use an eco-taxi, it will take you to the stairs, then you will go to the observation decks, I will show you the best observation decks with a view of the canyon from above Departure and arrival to Lake Bartogai After the excursion in the valley of castles, you will go to Lake Bartogai (60 km, about 1 hour), upon arrival you will have a walking tour (1 hour), where you can admire the beauty and take beautiful photos, Bartogai is an artificial reservoir, it feeds from the Chilik River, the lake was designed by D.A.Kunaev, for agricultural needs Departure and arrival in Almaty After the Bartogai tour, you will go back to the city (180 km, about 2.5 hours), upon arrival I will leave you anywhere in the city Road length: 460 km, approximately 6 hours Total time of the tour: 10 hours
