Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Zhezqazghan, Kazakhstan to Akzhar, Kazakhstan
Transfer to mountains in SUV. A lot of photo stops on the way. All meals outdoor. Free time in Akzhar, a lot of roaming and photographing even at the same spot, because the land looks quite different depending on light and weather. Overnightn in tents.
Day 2: Akzhar, Kazakhstan
Continuation of previous day. Full day on foot, walking and photographing. Another beautiful day and another beautiful night in tent. Starry night.
Day 3: Akzhar, Kazakhstan to Zhezqazghan, Kazakhstan
Return to Zhezkazgan. Old lead mine of XIXth century, abandoned mosque, several medieval mausoleums, museum of mining industry, fallen parts of Soviet and Russian rockets.
What's included
With beverages I mean non-alcogoholic ones, like water or juice. All meals will be cooked by guide or driver.
Alcoholic beverages, airplane, train tickets are excluded. Hotel in Zhezkazgan is not included, but can be added to the cost upon request.
