Most trout fishermen never find rivers like this.
The Suusamyr flows cold and clear through a high alpine valley at 2,000 meters — no crowds, no noise, just glacier-fed water and wild trout that have never seen a tourist. This is fly and spin fishing in one of the last truly untouched river systems in Central Asia.
You'll fish alongside a local guide who has spent 10+ years reading these waters. You'll learn where the trout hold between the boulders, how the current shifts through the day, and why Kyrgyz rivers behave differently from anything you've fished before. Every cast is in scenery most travelers only see in photographs.
This experience is for people who fish seriously — and for curious beginners who want their first catch to happen somewhere extraordinary.
What makes this different:
- Wild Kyrgyz trout found in very few places on Earth
- Remote alpine setting, 2+ hours from Bishkek
- Small group: maximum 4 guests per session
- Local knowledge built over a decade on these specific rivers
- Catch-and-release ethic — we fish with respect
You don't need to be an expert. You need to want something real.
