Winter Landscape Photography Trip In Kyrgyzstan
About this tour
Durinf this trip you will be seeing Kyrgyzstan in winter wich is totally different! It is like Iceland, cold and beautiful, everything is white!
Places we see: around Issyk Kul lake, Sonkul lake which is frozen, Kolsuu lake which is frozen, Jetyoguz and Barskoon valleys, hot springs of Alty Arashan valley, frozen rivers of Aksai valley
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan
We pick you up from airport and drive to Chonkemin valley, at arrival horseridings, overnight in a cozy homestay with tasty local food
Day 2: Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
Early morning after breakfast we drive to Karakol city by the north side of the biggest lake of country called Issyk Kul lake, along the way we enter to Semenov and gregoriev gorges stop for coffee and picnic, at arrival to Karakol we see unique Dungan mosque built in chinies style and Russian orthodox church built totally with wood
Day 3: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Altyn-Arashan, Altynarasan, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast we drive to the valley of hot springs, beautiful Altynarashan valley, the road is always beautiful and interesting, at arrival you can go to open air hot spring or a closed one. We recomennd to go to the open air which is beautiful
Day 4: Altyn-Arashan, Altynarasan, Kyrgyzstan to Seven Bulls rock, Kyrgyzstan
We drive back to karakol after to Jety Oguz canyons we see the forests of jetyoguz to take beautiful photos of the rocks and overnight in a guesthouse
Day 5: Jety - Oguz, Kyrgyzstan to Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan
This is another interesting day we will be stoping to see: Barskoon gorge, Skazka canyons, Aksai canyons, Mars canyons, make a nice picnic in one of the above mentioned places. And see amazing Falconry, the eagle hunter will be showing us his eagle and what he tarined them. Overnight in guesthouse in Kochkor
Day 6: Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan to Songköl Too, Kyrgyzstan
We drive to Sonkul lake, we will be taking the south eastern mountain pass wich is the only mountain pass open for the cars in winter, at arrival to sonkul lake we take photos and drive down to Naryn city. Overnight in a guesthouse in Naryn
Day 7: Naryn, Kyrgyzstan to Köl-Suu, Kyrgyzstan
We leave early morning to Kolsuu lake the road goes through the vast valley of Aksai platoue, on the way we stop in Karakoiun gorge to see famous caravansaray Tashrabat, we see the frozen Chatyrkul lake, after drive to Kolsuu lake and overnight in a camp.
Day 8: Köl-Suu, Kyrgyzstan
It is a whole day in kolsuu, we go to see the frozen lake and frozen world of the place
Day 9: Köl-Suu, Kyrgyzstan to Naryn, Kyrgyzstan
It is another long drive day, however it is beautifull and you will have the opportunity to see aksai valley from different perspective cos we will be driving the same road we came but back. Night in a guesthouse in naryn
Day 10: Naryn, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Drive to bishkek on the way we stop in burana tower and drive by the mountain side to see more beautiful bature of the nearby areas of Bishkek (optional we can stop in ski resorts along the way)
