Yangi-Kala canyons are one of the most unique places in Turkmenistan! They are located 165 km north of Balkanabat and 190 km east of Turkmenbashi.
It took millions of years for the canyons to achieve such an unusual shape, although in ancient times there was the Tethys Ocean. By the way, you can even find fossilized shells, shellfish and other marine inhabitants there.
