If you like high snow peak mountains , unforgettable hikes , canyons , lakes out of this world , beautiful culture and delicious food Kyrgyzstan has it all .
But getting around especially when you on your own and don’t speak language can be quite tricky. This is where our guides came in . Lovely and friendly local couple well experienced in this typ of activities. We had pleasure to spend time with each of them . Each of them are amazing and have different sort of skills which can benefit you on the road or on the hike . They can plan you trip well , can be flexible to .
Have 4x4 car driving experience which in some places it’s a must . Without it you won’t go far .
Also up in the mountain on trail can advise well , manage hike or trek , adjust to you , to your skills and capabilities. Walk you throw in pretty much anything where you need assistance.
We had pleasure spend couple of nights in family house of Nuri where we felt like part of family to .
We had amazing time together and unforgettable trip.

I and Nuri we were happy to do tour with beautiful couple from Poland. Bartek and Edita are an amazing couple who recently traveled to Kyrgyzstan. We had an absolutely wonderful time together, filled with so many fun, joyful, and interesting moments.They are an incredibly strong couple, both mentally and physically, always moving forward no matter what difficulties come their way. Beyond their strength, they have the kindest hearts. For instance, out of pure compassion for a weak and skinny horse, they chose not to ride it. Instead, they tackled the most challenging route on foot in just one day, proving not only their resilience but also their immense kindness. On another situation , when they saw a homeless person on the street whom everyone else ignored, Bartek and Edita immediately stepped in and gave them money for food. Seeing people like them fills your heart with joy because they are so genuinely good and sincere.Saying goodbye after 10 days was incredibly painful for both me and Nuri. It truly felt like we had become one big family and very close friends. However, we are not letting ourselves feel sad, because we hope that will meet again one day. Good luck guys. We will miss you.

It was such a pleasure to spend 9 days with Grace and Georgia from New Zealand. Our tour went so easily and was full of good moments, funny situations and beautiful memories. I really enjoyed every day with them. It was my first experience with guests from New Zealand, and I was very happy to meet such kind, friendly and understanding people. We spent 4 eventful, varied days in Kyrgyzstan with Altyn. He is an energetic, cheerful and knowledgeable guide, he is an excellent, fast and safe driver, we were never afraid of anything on the road during the trip. We enjoyed Altyn telling us stories of the country, the people and his family. We even had the pleasure of shortly meeting his wife, Nuri on the road.
He was flexible and helpful, whenever we wanted to do something a bit differently, he was ready to help us sorting it out.
However, we had 2 issues we had problems with:
- upon selecting the driver, we agreed on the itinerary and on the type of the car. As we are not youngsters any more, we needed a car with full-size seats for everyone, therefore we planned the trip with a 6-seater. Upon agreement months earlier the trip, we kept on communicating with Altyn to avoid any sudden surprises. Unfortunately, on the very last night before the trip, Altyn changed the car to a 5-seater 4x4 (middle seat is much less comfortable than the others). It had it's reason (Son-Kul is accessible only with 4x4), but the plan to visit Son-Kul was agreed from the beginning and should have been known to him from the beginning. One night prior to the trip, we did not have any choice left. Not having real options to explore, but facing a change that potentially destroys the rest of our trip, caused negative feelings even before we started the trip.
- out of our 4 morning departures, Altyn was late for 2. It is not nice when you agree on a timing and wake up early, then you as a client need to wait for the guide 30-40 minutes in the morning and later in the day bump into a heavy rain because of this delay.

Altyn was the most incredible guide, and we truly couldn’t have been better taken care of during the portion of our trip we spent with him. He was an absolute jack of all trades, he taught us how to feel comfortable on horseback, was a phenomenal drone operator and photographer, and captured so many amazing photos and videos of us along the way.
He was so friendly, charming, and well-connected that we always felt completely taken care of at every restaurant and overnight stay he brought us to. He drove us all over Kyrgyzstan, showing us the places we wanted to see and making sure we got the most out of every day.
He was incredibly knowledgeable and insightful, and always had some fun fact or interesting story to share. Every food spot he took us to was amazing, and he always had the best recommendations on what to order.
But what made Altyn truly special was that we didn’t just have an amazing guide—we made a genuine friend. He was so much fun to be around, and we loved the conversations, laughs, and time we spent together. By the end of the trip, it genuinely felt like we were traveling with a friend rather than a guide.
Best guide ever. We couldn’t recommend Altyn more highly! If you have the chance to travel with him, you’re in for an unforgettable experience.

We truly enjoyed our trip to Kyrgyzstan and meeting Nuri, Altynbeck and Islam.
Nuri was our guide for the tour and arranged everything according to our needs and wants in regarding to accomodation and places to visit.
It was very easy to communicate and it was great to have Nuri and Altynbeck’s father waiting for us at scheduled time on the first day. Also because of the unexpected harsh weather in the mountains we were not prepared with adequate clothes and Nuri was very helpful to go with us to local markets so we could buy clothes at a cheap price, and it ended being a very quick stop and not loosing us much time.
The trip went great, Kyrgyzstan is incredible and has some of the greatest views, we loved the nomadic culture and the whole experience of the country, especially Son-Kol Lake and Altyn Arashan. Nuri really made us feel comfortable during the whole trip and it was great to have so many conversations with her. Also we had the pleasure to meet Altynbeck and have dinner together with them, it felt like being with friends and we had so much fun.
To Altyn Arashan we had Nuri’s brother accompany us, Islam, and he was also very cool and flexible to our program.
We left with a lot of memories as Nuri was always so concerned about taking us a lot of great pictures! Thank very much for all your care during the trip, we truly recommend you to new visitors and hope to be back to Kyrgyzstan one day!
Here is Nuri, I and together with my husband Altynbek and my brother Islam, we were lucky to meet a wonderful and beautiful couple from Portugal. I truly enjoyed the tour with them. They are incredibly kind people with a great sense of humor and so much understanding. It felt so easy to communicate with them it seems like we had known each other for many years because really felt like we had been friends for a long time. I am sure I was not mistaken when I thought that I had met a Portuguese version of myself. Caroline and I shared many similarities even as Pedro and Altyn did. It was amazing to see how much we had in common. I sincerely hope that we will meet this lovely couple again in the future, probably with their little children because they truly love children and have such kind and loving hearts. Nuri and her father-in-law took us to travel around Kyrgyzstan for 7 days. Nuri's father-in-law was a patient, careful and skilful driver. Nuri was informative and she spoke fluent English.
I finished a tour with four truly wonderful people from Hong Kong dear Alice, Karen, Jazz, Keung because for me it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Despite our age difference, we clicked instantly they quickly felt like my second family with 3 loving mothers and a caring father. They were incredibly cheerful, fun, and always ready to lend a helping hand no matter the situation. The amount of wisdom, kindness, understanding, and pure love they shared with me was deeply moving. Guiding them never felt like work it felt like showing my own family around. It was a true privilege to spend such a gorgeous tour with people who have such big hearts. They we so good in details, I was so happy to see how they were giving chocolates and candy to all kids on the way I am so grateful for the warmth and unforgettable memories we created together, and I sincerely hope that one day we will meet again.

We had a short but wonderful 3 days with Nuri! Nuri is strong, funny and very friendly. She is incredibly knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about Krgyzstan culture, traditions, and daily life from her, which made the experience so much richer. She also constantly goes the extra mile to take care of us, making sure that we were comfortable and safe throughout the trip.
As novice hikers, we were especially touched by how patient and encouraging Nuri was. The hike was challenging and we might not have made it to the top without her 🤣 She also shared witth us about the different plants and fruits we came across on the trail which made the hike even more memorable and enjoyable.
We also appreciated how Nuri always tried to find the best deals for us. We also had the pleasure of staying in her family's guesthouse which was very homely. We also got to meet her family who is as warm and welcoming as she is.

Our journey in Kyrgyzstan was, without a doubt, the best and most unforgettable travel experience of our lives, and it is entirely thanks to this incredible family.
Right from the very start, Altyn blew us away with his dedication. He drove all the way from Bishkek to pick us up at the Kegen border. We were incredibly anxious about potential visa issues and feared we might not be allowed to cross by land—which would have meant we'd have to fly to Bishkek the next day, and Altyn would have had to drive all the way back to the capital alone. Despite this huge risk, he willingly supported us and waited. That level of care and responsibility is rare and deeply moving.
Altyn expertly guided us through the first two days, and then his wife, Nuri, and his father took over together for the rest of the trip—his father as our reliable driver and Nuri as our wonderful guide. Every single day was memorable.
Due to heavy snow, we couldn't visit Kel-Suu at its peak, but their dynamic rearranging of our itinerary turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We ended up visiting Song-Kul, Chon-Kemin, Altyn-Arashan, and many other beautiful places—gaining access to some of the most breathtaking landscapes we have ever seen.
Beyond the stunning scenery, we loved the long car rides filled with laughter, learning about Kyrgyz culture, and tasting amazing local food. Travel always brings surprises, but even when mountain weather and road conditions became challenging, we felt 100% safe. Nuri has flawless English, incredible problem-solving skills, and a deeply attentive nature. She ensured we were always warm and comfortable, treating us less like tourists and more like old friends.
This family made Kyrgyzstan feel like home. We highly, highly recommend their guiding services to anyone looking for an authentic, safe, and heartwarming adventure!

Altynbek was a great guide who accompanied us on the 3-day Ala Kul trek. He organised all accommodation and everything ran very smoothly. Altynbek brought a drone which allowed us to get some incredible videos to remember the trek. He was also the only guide who had enough experience to know that the Ala Kul pass would be open and safe to cross at the time we went. Despite lots of conflicting advice from other travellers, Altynbek never faltered in his belief that it would be fine, and he turned out to be right. It was an amazing experience that we would never have gotten with another guide. I highly recommend you book with him.
Olivia and Luke are one of the strongest and most determined couples I have ever met. Despite the harsh weather conditions and deep snow, they successfully reached the highest point at 3860 meters and finally saw the beautiful lake after three difficult days of hiking. They completed one of the hardest routes completely out of season, when the pass was still covered with snow. Their backpacks were heavy, the trail was exhausting, and of course they were scared at times — but they kept moving forward and safely made it back down. They are young, cheerful, kind, intelligent, and incredibly resilient people. Their persistence, positive attitude, and inner strength were truly inspiring. Me, my mom & my sister had the BEST time in Kyrgyzstan thanks to Altynbek! We started off the trip with a nice meal at a local hotpot restaurant after Altynbek picked us up from the airport on the way to Chon-Kemin valley. The next day, we got to ride horses too for >1 hour which was our favorite part of the trip! The Ealgle Hunting Show was a blast too!! We got to take stunning photos at Fairytale valley & Altyn Arashan as well! Ended trip with our driver sending us to our hotel in Saty Village, Kazakhstan. I found Indyguide and put my plan here, then I talked to many hosts. They offered me their best, and somehow I decided to travel with this host. It's our first time with Indyguide, and we weren't sure how it would turn out. Finally, we met our guide, Nuri. She is a nice, strong woman in a tiny body. She helps us with everything, even carrying luggage bigger than her body. She arranged a good van and driver to make us comfortable on our travels. She made sure every night that we would be fine with the accommodation. And a warm welcome with good tea and great snacks at her place after we came back from Altyn Arashan. We used Altynbek for transfers within Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. While the transport itself was generally arranged and the border changeover was handled, the experience wasn’t quite as agreed.
We had agreed that we would have full use of the car on the days booked, but this was later disputed and additional charges were brought up. The same issue came up with the second driver arranged in Kazakhstan, and communication at times felt difficult.
As a result, we had to arrange separate transport to visit tourist attractions and lakes during our trip. Overall, it wasn’t what we expected and we were disappointed.
We completed the transfer as contracted. The booking was for a point-to-point transfer, not a guided tour, and we fulfilled and went beyond what was agreed. We're happy to share the original booking terms with anyone who has questions.

We had the pleasure of having Nuri (Altyn’s wife) as our main guide during our 10-day journey through Kyrgyzstan. Throughout the trip, we also met several of her close family members who played an integral role in our experience from driving us across breathtaking landscapes, from Chunkurchak to the Arashan Valley, to preparing delicious home-cooked meals and joining us on various legs of the journey as secondary guides.

Our week-long tour through Kyrgyzstan was nothing short of incredible. It is easily one of the most stunning countries we have ever visited. The mountains, valleys and canyons were absolutely breathtaking.
Our guide knew exactly where to take us, from hidden scenic spots to the best local food places and an incredible photograher. We were warmly welcomed by his lovely wife Nuri, who was incredibly kind and made us feel completely at home. One of the most welcoming hosts we have ever met.
The whole experience was unforgettable and thanks to them, our trip to Kyrgyzstan was truly special. We would love to come back.
I was lucky to meet one wonderful couple from England. They were very cheerful and friendly, people with big and kind hearts, they treated everything very simply and looked at everything positively, in all my practice for the first time I met a strong-willed couple, especially Kiki, despite the pain, she reached up to the top, which I will proudly tell everyone about it, and also this is a couple who loves animals very much, especially horses, they did not miss a single moment to feed them, dear Josh and Kiki thank you for trusting us, and for a wonderful and fun experience. We had 6 amazing days in Kyrgystan, that Nuri, and also the rest of her family, made feel like home. Not only did we get to see all the breathtaking views and nature, we also got to learn so much about the culture and made genuine friendships along the way. Whether it was answering all our questions, being our personal photographer, helping me up the last part of the mountain or having heartfelt conversations; Nuri offered it all. Also special thanks to Salik, who was the best driver we could have wished for and all others that made us feel so welcome. We are going to miss it a lot, but hopefully we will come back one day and then certainly choose to go with them again ❤️
6 days of wonderful tour passed very quickly, but I got a lot of emotions and positive from this couple from Portugal and Holland. We had a great time over our 8-day trip across Kazakhstan with Nurzhan, and Kyrgyzstan with Altyn and Nuri. They helped us plan a comprehensive itinerary around our interests while adjusting to changes along the way. It was a joy travelling with them —they were fun, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and always made sure we were comfortable and well fed. We learnt a lot about the countries, people and culture while taking in the stunning sceneries and enjoying the activities. The homestay at their guesthouse in Karakol was also very memorable, as the family spent time engaging with us and cooking delicious meals.
We felt safe and well taken care of the entire trip, they even checked in on us after parting ways. While there is room for improvement, the sincerity and hospitality from this family has touched us deeply and we'd happily recommend them to anyone visiting the region —especially if you enjoy some thrill and flexibility.

We had a wonderful 6 days tour with Nuri and Islam across various amazing destinations around Issyk-Kul lake! They were very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the country and the people from them. They really tried their hardest in planning the best possible itinerary based on our long list of requests. We also felt very safe and at ease the entire trip with them (we could trust them to protect us and fight for the best deals/prices for any activities/purchases). They even went above and beyond in helping to facilitate our journey after our tour with them had ended (constantly checking-in to ensure we have safely reached our destination).
