Born with a curious spirit, Darya’s adventures began in childhood — when she missed her bus stop just to see what lay beyond. Since then, her love for discovery has taken her from Kazakhstan’s rugged peaks to Southeast Asia’s remote corners, always searching for connection — with nature, people, and herself.
A lifelong athlete and traveler, Darya’s journey began with horse riding and grew to include white-water rafting, mountaineering, snowboarding, skiing and mountain biking. While studying Tourism at Turan University, she immersed herself in extreme sports and deepened her love for the mountains.
Her travels eventually led her inward — toward meditation, mindfulness, and a calling to guide others. In 2025 she successfully completed education in the International Mountain Guiding School in Kyrgyzstan and became the first female Kazakhstan certified skiing guide.
Philosophy: Adventure isn’t just about the destination — it’s about growth, inspiration, and living each moment fully. She believes the mountains teach us to push limits, stay grounded, and never stop learning.

7 days. 7 days of pure adventure.
Nights in a tent, 20 kg on our backs, and only one direction: into nature. Fresh air, endless mountains, and almost no connection to the outside world.
It was a week lived intensely, filled with countless emotions and just as many physical ups and downs: exhaustion, cold, sleepless nights, but above all, that incredible feeling of freedom and happiness that only the mountains can give you.
Every day brought a different landscape: spectacular mountains surrounding us, campsites beside glacial lakes, tents pitched between 2,750 and 3,750 meters, freeze-dried food, hot tea and coffee shared in front of views that are almost impossible to describe with words.
And then there was the laughter. So much laughter. With Darya, and with the wonderful company of Joy, her Border Collie, who quickly became part of our little team.
I also learned that with Darya, a “rest day before the summit push” apparently means hiking 14 km with 650 m of elevation gain. 😅
We swam in a lake at 3,500 meters, reached a summit at 4,075 m, and finally climbed a 4,317 m peak, one of the most challenging mountains I have ever done. It pushed me both physically and mentally, and that is exactly what made the experience even more unforgettable.
But perhaps the most special part of these seven days was that it never felt like just a guided trek between a guide and a client.
A genuine human connection was there almost from the very beginning. When you spend seven intense days together, far away from everything, walking for hours, setting up camp, sharing meals, laughing, struggling through difficult moments and experiencing incredible ones, you inevitably start to truly know the person beside you.
And so, after seven days with Darya, on the eighth day it didn't feel like I was simply saying goodbye to my guide. It felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend with whom I had just shared an incredible adventure.
And maybe that's what made the whole experience so special.
I left for a 7-day trek and came back with memories of mountains, glacial lakes, summits and countless unforgettable moments… but also with a new friendship.
Five stars simply aren't enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you're looking for real adventure, wild nature, mountains and, above all, an authentic human experience, I couldn't recommend Darya more.

We absolutely loved our trek with Darya! She was very professional and helpful the entire time. She really paid attention to our safety, First, she adjusted our dates to make sure we had better weather which was definitely the right choice, and kept us updated on the status of the park. There were a few scary parts of the hike that were new for us but she helped us through it. Overall it was an excellent adventure and a new experience for us! If you have a chance, do this hike! It shows the beauty and wildness of Kazakhstan!
It was pleasure for me to spend 6 days of an unforgettable and beautiful trekking trip with Kristine and Taylor in Turgen Gorge. Every day was special and every moment counts. Thank you so much for your courage and positive energy you keep spreading despite of weather changes and all challenges we have had on the way. Wish you to have more interesting and wild nature adventures ahead! Thank you for your trust, I'm so happy to have chance to become a part of your first ever camping experience.

I joined Horseback Riding Tour to the Wild Camp near Kainazar 2 Days in the Foothills of Ile Alatau Mountains.
I felt deeply totally relaxed and refreshed in greed gradation, beautiful mountains, and pure heart of the horses.
It was once-in-a-lifetime experience for me.
I'm a extreme beginner in horse riding but Daria cared, helped me much, explained many things, and answered my questions in good English.
Foreign tourists can join her tour without any concerns and problems.
Stay in the Yurts was very comfortable and all staffs were all kind.
Group size was not too large or too small, it was just right.
Her tours are not the kind of rushed, impersonal group tours that hurry from one attraction to another. They are thoughtful, well-organized tours for adults, where you can slow down and immerse yourself deeply in nature, greenery, the mountains, the people, and the horses.
I can recommend it.

My time in Kazakhstan with Daria was truly extraordinary. We explored the Talgar mountains on horseback and ventured through the breathtaking wild Kolsai lakes. After traveling and adventuring in different parts of the world, my time in Kazakhstan with Daria stands out at the very top of my list. Daria is a superwoman! Her professionalism, preparedness, and genuine care for my well-being made the trip unforgettable, and she is so much fun to be around! Plus, she prepared the most amazing food in the mountains. Her unwavering passion for adventures and the outdoors is truly inspiring. Daria also captured beautiful moments of my journey and generously shared them with me. I feel incredibly fortunate to have shared this experience with her. We've become friends through this experience, and I look forward to more adventures together in the future!

We had an unforgettable horseback riding experience in the Kungey Alatau mountains, and I can't recommend it enough. The breathtaking beauty of the landscape in the fall was an absolute highlight, perfect for leaf peeping and immersing yourself in the wonders of nature. Our guide Daria, was an absolute gem. Her passion for the mountains was evident in every conversation and every stop along the way. Her skills extended beyond guiding: she prepared amazing meals for us and made the entire experience fun with her enthusiasm and positive energy.

We are two Koreans and our trip with Alex was the best. He is sensitive and kind and puts our safety first. Thanks to Alex, we were able to proceed safely. He also took into account our culinary preferences and had the best culinary skills. We enjoyed the food he made and we were able to continue our good trip. He is very flexible and helps us make the trip the way we want it to be. We had the flexibility to change our plans even when bad weather came along the way and rather enjoyed the trip better. We talked a lot with Alex about the culture of Kazakhstan and each other's culture, which made the trip even more enjoyable.
A camp trip in the real wild I will never forget in my life.

My partner and I had a really special experience in Kazakhstan under the guidance of Daria and Alex. We originally signed up for the 3 day horseriding and hiking trip in Kolsay but I came down with a cold a day before. I reached out to Daria (who responds very quickly via WhatsApp) who was able to put together a special itinerary that was less physically intensive for us under short notice. I was impressed by how well thought-out the impromptu 3 day trip ended up being, as it preserved a lot of the important elements we were looking for (horseriding and hiking around Kazakhstan) and was ccombined with Daria's knowledge of the area, culminating in our privilege of experiencing a lot of different sights in the country in a short period of time (Charyn Canyon, Singing Dunes, Turgen mountains, and even a private visit to an apple orchard).
I was really impressed by Daria's knowledge as a guide and appreciated her breadth of knowledge on all sorts of topics on her country. Her appreciation of the outdoors and wildlife were particularly nice and we appreciated learning about the plants and animals we encountered during horseriding and hiking. Also, she took pictures of me and my partner throughout the trip and generously shared them with us at the end. They definitely turned out better than most of the pics I took, so that was a truly nice and unexpected bonus! Alex's driving was really skilled, especially getting us to places when we were running late. We really enjoyed getting to know him and Daria better and hearing about their perspectives on Kazakh culture!
We realize that we only experienced a limited amount of the Kazakh outdoor experience that Daria and Alex can offer this time around and would be excited to seek them out for more adventures if we visit Kazakhstan again. We'll definitely be recommending them to our friends who love adventurous travel in any case!
