Deggie and I went on an amazing 11 day tour of Western Mongolia together. His English is excellent (the best of any Mongolian I've met), and he (very patiently) helped me learn some basic Mongolian. He is very experienced, and knows how to pace out the journey so you can arrive at either a ger or a good camping spot at the right time each day. He will work with you to customize your trip based on what interests you, which is a huge advantage - in my opinion - over going with a tour guide company that already has a hard set plan. Speaking of which - his car is much, much more comfortable than the UAZ vans those companies use. Another unique thing about Deggie is that he grew up in the Govi as a nomad. So if you're interested in Mongolian nomadic culture, he knows all about it. I think having a nomad as a guide (versus someone who grew up in the city) made the experience significantly more meaningful. I feel like I got to see the country through the eyes of a local, and that is the best kind of travel. I highly recommend him!

Due to some unforeseen circumstances Deggie was unable to guide me. However he did refer me to his friend, Chuka to be my guide cum driver. Chuka is a wonderful driver cum guide and took great care of me during my Gobi Desert trip. Though I did not have the opportunity to be guided by Deggie, he had planned my trip and coordinated well with Chuka to ensure that my trip carried out safe and smooth. Overall, I had a wonderful and memorable Gobi Desert tour. I will definitely go back to Deggie in my forthcoming planned holiday to Khuvsgul Lake, Mongolia in December 2019, and any other trip to Mongolia in future. Thank you Deggie and Chuka. I am asked for feedback but the trip is in 6 weeks’ time! So it is difficult to say anything except Deggie seems very nice in our e-mail communications and I am looking forward to the trip

There was no problems. Deggie knows his car very well and how to drive on off roads. He is a funny, friendly , reliable guy and a good mechanic. Good English and easy to communicate. Loves his country and always try to keep her clean.
