We spent 10 days travelling through Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan with Egenberdi and it was one of the most memorable trips we've ever taken.
The standout moment was Ala-Kul lake. The hike up is demanding but the views and the colour of the water at the top are unlike anything we'd seen before. Worth every step!
Song-Kol was another highlight. The yurt camp hosts were incredibly hospitable and the yurts themselves were far cosier than we expected at that altitude. Falling asleep to complete silence and waking up to that landscape is something we'll remember for a long time.
What made the whole experience work was Egenberdi himself. He was flexible when we wanted to change plans, genuinely fun to spend time with over 10 days, and clearly knew the country and its landscapes inside out. Travelling with a local guide who actually cares makes an enormous difference.
Would recommend Egenberdi without hesitation, and IndyGuide made it easy to find him!

We had an amazing experience with our driver and tour guide through Kyrgyzstan🇰🇬 and Kazakistan🇰🇿. He was kind, reliable, genuine and always in a great mood. He knows the area inside out, showed us hidden gems, and made us feel safe throughout the trip. Since my wife is pregnant he thoughtfully avoided difficult roads and even arranged calm horses for us, which we really appreciated.

Egenberdi was a lovely man with a great sense of humour that kept us laughing a lot. An excellent driver and we felt safe and in good hands. We wanted a driver not so much a guide though so he did not tell us much about things but got us from A to B on time which is really what we asked for. His english is manageable but would have been easier if it was better. He took us to good places to eat and made sure we could stop for loo breaks as needed. A nice car with plenty of space. We enjoyed our tour.

My week with Egen was truly invaluable and something that I will cherish forever. This might sound exagerrated but I (and my travel buddies) really had a blast with Egen. He is a kind, helpful and clever person, who is always interesting to have a conversation with. While some may not value this as much as I do, but Egen is also a fantastic drivers. I never felt unsafe while driving with him - even during snowstorm at the mountains! If/when I return to Kyrgyzstan, I will definitely choose Egen again - I cannot reccomend him enough!

I was in desperate need of a guide and driver at short notice as the one I had originally booked 5months ago had let me down.
I found Egenberdi from Indy guide within 2 days and the communication was clear and precise and cost was reasonable compared to other quotes I received.
I am grateful to Egenberdi as I had booked driver and Guide for a while 5 days and I never felt uncomfortable in fact I had a great experience and part of this was due to my hosts incredible patience and good sense of humour.
I never felt rushed while hiking in fact I was going my own pace and Host never once complained. Egenberdi also was very helpful and carried camping gear etc honestly I am happy as from the Pick up from airport to the last day drop off bck to Bishkek we had such an amazing experience and I felt safe and would definitely book same host again for any future tours as the convenience of having driver and Guide all in one is such a bonus.
I have others enquiring too as I shared my experiences with my fellow colleagues on my further travels and they were interested. I provided them with Indy Guide website and the name of my host so they too can book and have similar experience.
I would also like to mention that my hosts English was extremely good and we had no issues communicating he is also a safe driver.
