Erali.

Erali rented us a Toyota Landcruiser to travel from Dushanbe to Osh at a quite competitive price and he was the only one who could let us do full trip by crossing the border from Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan (the other people who rent cars would let us do either only Tajikistan or only Kyrgyzstan, due to the border closure for locals). He also took care of our permit to enter Kyrgyzstan. We stayed two nights at his family's guesthouse in Murghab, where his mother cooks delicious meals. Probably the communication and care before and during the trip could have been better and it is an aspect of his business he can improve.

The service is satisfactory.

I would like to divide my rating into two parts. The first part covers the our whole journey from Osh to Dushanbe: The car was in good condition, our driver Ahmatali excellent and very experienced, with one exception the accommodation met our expectations. I would also divide the food into two parts - Kyrgyz and Tajik, where the Kyrgyz people offered better food than the Tajik people. Overall, all the organization worked well during the trip. Our driver always tried to help us with all the requirements. Rating of our journey: 9 points out of 10 The second part concerns communication with our host Erali: After the initial agreement which was okay problems increased. Communication gradually weakened, in my opinion was inadequate. Until the last moment we were not sent a detailed itinerary of the trip with short descriptions of the places visited, with the length of travel between destinations (distance and time of travel), info about local cuisine, eating options, what is included and what is not etc. Of course, what could be improved from Erali`s side is obviously more but any such review will contribute to improving the services offered to other clients. Everything went very well. Erali and his family have been very very helpful and proposed the best service you can expect. We have been very demanding because of our time there and asked for far pick-up and a (very) far drop-off and Erali was just very accommodating for everything. I can only recommend him !

My 15 day tour of Tajikistan arranged with Erali was great. The itinerary we agreed on was perfect for the time of year (late April early May). His brother, Akhmed was my driver and I cannot think of a better person to travel with. A very good driver, a caring person and although his English is not extensive it was adequate and it was a pleasure to have his company on the tour. Michael Symmons
