Erkin organized our border permits incredibly quickly, which was a huge help as we were in a hurry. The whole process was very straightforward and everything went smoothly.
On top of that, Erkin was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. He took care of everything and made sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

Ok where do I even start….We’ve had an amazing 5 day trip to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan with Erkin!
My husband and I usually travel on our own, but this time we decided to take a guided tour with Erkin, and it turned out to be the best decision ever.
Even though Erkin seems to have been practically everywhere in the Northern Kyrgyzstan, he makes the trip feel unique.
He is super flexible, takes special requests into account, and is genuinely great at planning and time management - for instance, we really wanted to see the Arabel Pass, and Erkin managed to incorporate it into the trip without sacrificing anything else. He also struck a perfect balance between time on the road and time to enjoy each location, which is impressive considering how large the distances really are - we crossed almost 2000 km, and not all the roads were exactly smooth.
Erkin is very attentive to detail - he carefully selects accommodation and places to eat and has a lot of supplies with him (for example, water, coffee, cookies, napkins and even foldable chairs). By the way, we were really well fed, and Erkin’s food recommendations were always better than the dishes we chose ourselves - so please always listen to him ;)
Erkin genuinely loves his job, people, traveling and exploring - he will tell you a lot and will do it in a lively and engaging way - you will certainly not have a feeling that you are listening to a wikipedia article copypaste.
Last but not least, he is simply a lovely person and a nice conversation partner. By the end of the trip, we felt like we were traveling with a friend and were even a bit sad that the tour came to an end.
Erkin, thank you for the great trip and hopefully we will see you again soon on our next trip to Central Asia ;).

Had a fantastic experience on the 3 day 2 night hike of Mount Uchitel in Ala Archa. A huge thank you to Erkin and Dani who led the expedition itself. Super supportive and had loads of fun on the hike, couldn't have asked for a more unforgettable experience.
Hike was challenging but completely worth it for the incredible scenery and sense of accomplishment. Highly recommend this expedition to anyone who wants to take on a challenge and make their Kyrgyzstan trip memorable.

Our 4-day tour in Kyrgyzstan was an unforgettable experience, and the biggest credit goes to our guide, Erkin.
Erkin is simply a fantastic guide and an exceptionally skilled driver. Driving on mountain roads can be intense, but with him behind the wheel, we always felt 100% safe and relaxed. He took care of every single detail of the logistics, brought us to stunning, breathtaking places, and went above and beyond to make sure our group of four had the best time possible.
A big thanks also to Nurpeiil for the seamless organization and communication before and during the trip.
If you're planning a tour in Kyrgyzstan, ask for Erkin, you couldn't be in better hands!

We would like to thank Erkin (as well as Erik and Oldjazz – apologies if I misspelled the name) for making our trip to Kyrgyzstan such a memorable experience.
Although we had to make a few adjustments to the itinerary due to the weather, the trip turned out to be fantastic. We visited many breathtaking places, enjoyed excellent food, and stayed in comfortable apartments and traditional yurts.
Throughout the journey, we had the feeling that Erkin carefully selected high-quality accommodations, activities, and restaurants, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
If you are looking for an authentic and unforgettable trip to Kyrgyzstan, we can highly recommend this tour. Thank you again for a wonderful adventure!

We spent 14 days with Erkin in late April and early May, crossing Kazakhstan into Kyrgyzstan in a Toyota Land Cruiser, and we came away grateful he was behind the wheel. Traveling with my wife and our two daughters (9 and 11), safety was always on my mind, and Erkin handled the hardest stretches with total composure. The roads to Enilchek and Song Kul are not for the faint of heart, and he picked his lines perfectly. We always felt safe, even when the terrain suggested we shouldn’t.
His standout quality is his local knowledge, and it runs deeper than the routes. Erkin knows the places and, more importantly, the people in them, handing out hugs and handshakes at nearly every stop. That turns out to be the most reassuring thing you can ask for on a trip like this. You can land in trouble through nothing but bad luck, but when your guide is friends with everyone for hundreds of miles, getting back out is a lot easier.
One story captures him best. My wife left her hat at a guesthouse in Kazakhstan the day before we crossed the border. Without a word of complaint, Erkin tracked down the house, found a guide heading into Kyrgyzstan, and reunited her with it days later. Then she left her Oura ring in Enilchek, possibly the least accessible spot on the entire route, and he did it all over again, working out the logistics of getting it up and over the mountains and back across the country. That is the heart of why we liked him so much. He is a genuinely good guy who quietly gets things done, which is exactly what you are paying for on an adventure like this.
He clearly loves exploration and the outdoors, and it shows in the route he built, which took us to some of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. He shared the history and culture of each stop with real patience and enthusiasm, and he was great with our daughters, even gifting them a Rubik’s cube that one of them was determined to solve until she did. The car, a 2004 Land Cruiser, was always clean and well maintained, with daily fluid and tire checks, though a few electrical gremlins appeared with the tail lights and door locks.
One piece of advice for future travelers, especially families: ask plenty of questions during planning about meal times and the daily order of events. Erkin always got us fed, and fed well, but a few dinners landed around 9pm, which was tough with kids. Once he understood our preferences he adjusted where he could, though some stops were booked in advance.
That small note aside, Erkin saw our family through an ambitious and unforgettable 14 days, safe and sound and full of memories. We recommend him without hesitation.

Had the coolest and wildest experience with Erkin, road tripping around the mountains and lakes of Kyrgyzstan while experiencing the nomadic life. We were very new to high altitude and I was suffering from flue, but Erkin was very patient, humble and kind to let us enjoy it at a slow pace. From saving horses to laying down on the grass lands of Son-Kül at night, we made memories for life. The trip ended by exchanging gifts and bilateral ties between both the countries😂. Very grateful for him and the experience 😊

My family booked a 7-day trip through Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan with Erkin. Erkin was happy to adjust the trip itinerary to better fit our priorities (horseback riding). I couldn’t have imagined traveling without the knowledge and expertise Erkin provided throughout the trip.
If you book a trip with Erkin I promise that you won’t regret it!
Nice family. Very flexible and fit. we made 3 days horseriding for Alakul lake. they climbed it, last part horses can't go, even faster than me. although it is not for beginners

Just finished a 12-day tour of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan with Erkin. It was an amazing and memorable journey from start to finish. He was extremely kind and lots of fun to travel with. The tour he designed for us offered a perfect blend of adventure and peaceful nature experiences. He took us to some of the most beautiful and remote places we’ve ever seen.
We enjoyed a variety of fun activities including hiking, horse riding, boating, and walking through canyons. The vehicles we rode in were very comfortable and felt safe throughout the trip.
We highly recommend Erkin as a guide!

Erkin and Denis collaborated well to help us tour Assy Plateau, Turgen Gorge and the Bear Waterfall!
Denis also helped us pick some apples from nearby trees, and was very punctual with the tour timings.
The Toyota Sequoia was also very comfortable and sturdy while navigating the off roads✨

We hired Erkin for a two week tour of Kyrgyzstan and found him to be an extremely professional guide with an excellent command of English.
Erkin is not only patient and thoughtful but also very knowledgeable about the history, culture and politics of the region, and the views he expresses are always insightful and well thought through.
We highly recommend Erkin as a guide.
We made interesting and experimental trip. David showed interests to Karavshin gorge in remote and before closed for visiting region of Kyrgyzstan - Batken. Which at border with Tajikistan. And though my car was broken i couldn't skip this and attract my teammate. By the way i offered to visit several new locations for hiking and David with Yew were glad to explore those with me also. Itagar gorge and river is now new GEM for me. Worthy to go there especially. Karavshin landscape tough and much more different that you can meet in Kyrgyzstan before.

We've just completed a 10 day trip with Erkin in Kyrgyzstan. It was an amazing trip from start to finish. Erkin knows the country well and was keen to show us the very best of Kyrgyzstan. We travelled in a Toyota Land Cruiser which was very comfortable and well driven on the less than perfect mountain roads. There were severe storms in the mountains at one stage in our trip and Erkin expertly rescheduled our tour so that we avoided the landslide and closed roads, but still managed to see everything that we'd agreed. We also did a number of hikes - 2 quite challenging for us - but he was supportive throughout and we are so pleased that he encouraged us to do them. And to top it all, he carried a portable stove and coffee pot, so each day there were at least two coffee stops in the most stunning locations. We'd highly recommend Erkin for a tour of Kyrgyzstan.
I was wondering how this couple brave and enduring. They made during our trip through the best destinaions in Kyrgyzstan, and remote, the hikings which even not every young people ready to do. They got Altyn Arashan gorge, 18 km of hiking, We got also Kelsuu lake by walking, even me in the end was done :)

We asked Erkin on short notice for a trip to see best of Kasachstan and Kirgistan. He was already busy for our dates but organised another driver and hiking guide for us instead. Jenish was great and best guide you could ask for!! Unfortunately the car had trouble so Erkin had to help us out. This was a bit unfortune for his customers as they were „stuck with us“. The tour was great but to ease driving time and have more time for hikes we recommend 2-3 extra days as there is so much to see and explore!! Two wonderful countries and we would recommend Jenish and Erkin any time again. Let them know your precise wishes before and they will put the perfect tour for you together :)
Nice trip with two german girls. I attracted my friend and teammate Jenish for this trip and experimental vehicle which is not for beginners and asphalt. I was on a second car and with other two customers. So the cars had problem, but i couldn't leave them cause it was also my trip :). The road also was with adventures like a small accident with horse. But mainly the trip was fun, although a lot of issues.
★★★
It could be much more good because he doesn't do for what we paid. We should be just in two persons but we were with other 2 persons in 2 cars but 1 car had many problems so we always wait for. Then we have spoken to do and see some thinks but we didn't and we should have a flex tour but he reserved everything by him self because the other 2 people payd for an all inclusive tour. Kirghizistan is very nice but could be better with another guide.
I think nobody reads the review on customers page :). But OK. The trip was not so bad actually, sometimes a lot of fun, sometimes a lot of issues cause i sold a second tour with similar dates and itinerary for two german girls. And I attracted my friend and teammate Jenish for them with experimental vehicle which is not for beginners and asphalt. So the car had problem, but i couldn't left them cause it was also my trip :). So i was in a difficult situations. But I think finally i made all my duties. Additionally got good lessons. The road also was with adventures like a small accident with horse. Also my customers found the Kyrgyzstan pretty expensive, not like in their guidebook of 2010, and last few days canceled accomodations which i offered and found cheeper, but not at such beautiul locations. But mainly the trip was fun, although a lot of issues. So the lesson after this trip i would be much more serious, reliable and professional, I hope. And same time a raised the prices for my services. Goodbye cheap and affordable Erkin. Erkin left middle league and going to high

Me and my friend had the best 11 day tour with Erkin! He was extremely knowledgeable about all the places we went to and he knew exactly where to take us where there would be hardly any other people. He had a very comfortable car and drove us safely from place to place. He was very kind and lots of fun and can’t recommend him highly enough!
Mood was great. Road to Enilchek was adventurous. Thanks Victoria for trusting me :).

We had a 4 day tour with multiple stops in Kyrgyzstan with Erkin, and we cannot recommend him as tour guide highly enough! We had an amazing experience on our tour - Erkin has an incredible level of knowledge about the history and culture of Kyrgyzstan and every place we visited within. His local cultural and travel/terrain know-how is another huge plus that came in handy multiple times during our trip. We particularly appreciated how flexible Erkin was, allowing us to customize the tour as much as possible to fit our interests and preferences. And even as a group of all girls on a multi-day tour, we felt very safe and taken care of every step of the way. The tour he crafted for us was a perfect blend of adventure and peaceful nature, with every detail carefully thought out. His passion for sharing the beauty and history of Kyrgyzstan is evident and made our time thoroughly enjoyable. We will definitely book with him again when in the area!
the cutest group I ever had. 4 Brave girls, great mood, ready to any activity in and crazy adventures. really memorable trip for me.

I had one day trip opportunity in Bishkek and I had a consultation from Erkin.
He arranged 1 day tour around Bishkek, such as Karagai Bulak, Issykata, Ruins of Suyab~Capital Western Turkistan etc. Although it was a very short trip, but I could see snow-capped mountains, Buddha Figure carvedon a rock face, Hot sprongs, Histrical Ruins etc. It was an amazing, beautiful adventure for me. I reccomend Erkin as a very good tour conductor, not only off-road car driver in Bishkek.

We enjoyed our trip with Erkin very much. He was reliable, on time and friendly. He took care of us very well and organized our accommodations. He knows the places very well and made it very easy for us. He showed us a lot of beautiful things. Also he knew a lot about history and added value with his explanations. We can highly recommend to book a trip with Erkin. Thank you very much, dear Erkin!

We had a lovely time during this 3 day trek. The vue was beautiful and the guide was very kind and thoughtful !!

Erkin was superb. He tried very hard to show us everything in the limited time that we had. He selected ideal accommodation, and drove us around in his highly versatile Toyota land cruiser, which was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend him.

Erkin was a fantastic guide and driver that made our trip smooth and memorable. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a road trip around Central Asia. His car is fantastic at tackling tough terrain which you can encounter going through streams (Kaindy lake) or up rocky roads (Song Kul) as it is supported on a large iron chassis. Erkin is organised, kind and flexible to cover whatever itinerary you wish for (he drove on average 250km for us daily 5 days in a row). He offers good advice, good energy, and frankly was a pleasure to be around for the trip.
★★★★★
If you want an authentic off-road tour in Kyrgyzstan, I cannot recommend Erkin Mms enough. He is adventurous, fun and very knowledgeable about his country and its history. Additionally, he knows the best spots for Kumys and Kurut and also brews great coffee en route. If you are looking for a unique tour with plenty of outdoorsy activities such as horse riding or hiking, as well as history, then Erkin Mms is your guy. Last but not least, Erkin takes very good care of his guests and goes above and beyond his job to ensure that they are comfortable.

For the purpose of of a Soviet tour I've come to realize that there's maybe two people in central Asia who has the total required skillset to be such a guide. One in Kazakhstan, and for Kyrgyzstan Erkin is your man. It takes a deep knowledge about the local culture, and attitudes. Knowing how to talk with locals the right way. Not to speak of knowing about things that are forgotten. Erkin is perfect at that.
For all other purposes (as a guide in general) he is very professional and knows what he is doing, making sure your trip is as much a success as possible. I will definitely vouch for him.

We had an amazing adventure in Kyrgyzstan with Erkin as our guide and driver. Erkin is a great guy – experienced, friendly, and a very safe driver. His offroad Toyota Land Cruiser was perfect for the diverse terrains and comfortably handled everything from mountains to canyons. We explored some of the most stunning locations, from Almaty to Charyn Canyon, Karkyra Valley, Aksai Canyon, and all the way to the breathtaking Songkul Lake before ending our journey in Bishkek. Kyrgyzstan’s natural beauty is unmatched, and having Erkin’s guidance and expertise made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore this beautiful country.

We did a 3 1/2 day trip around Issyk Kul. Erkin was committed to the task of showing us a lot in a short time span and to also get enough hiking in despite all the driving. His car is great and feels very comfortable, even in very challenging terrain.

Beautiful and dynamic views, unspoilt. The tour was expertly run. From safety to knowledge given on the area. If you're not used to high-alitude treks. I would recommend being healthy and aversed to trekking. It was an incredible challenge. I was looking for adventure and I found it. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I already miss the silence and wonder of the mountains ⛰️
I sent Aron to Uchitel peak with my teammate - Jamil, cause i was on another long tour. Jamil actually is more experienced than me in mountains and i hope Aron was satisfied. Actually climbing on Uchitel peak is not so easy as some people think, even the difficulty level is just 1B. But Aron was tough and strong climber and resisted all difficulties :)

Erkin is really a passionate person.a very safe driver who has all equipments if there is any problem with his 4by4 land cruiser. Well maintained car for the terrain. We LOVED our trip with Erkin. It was quite last minute from our side but he helped us with all of the planning and areas to stay and we trusted him from the beginning. The trip itself was perfect, very interesting and without Erkin we wouldn't have gone off track and found some absolute gems, he really does know the country, the history and shared a lot of insights, facts and opinions with us. Despite the time/schedule for the day, he made time to show us as much as possible whilst keeping it relaxing and we would have never have been able to see so much by ourselves! English comms were perfect. He also knows the best spots for Food :) Thanks Erkin!!
Nice couple. we actually made a nice trip with pretty much hikings, horseridings and diferent activities. It was not a lazy leisure and it is also allowed me stay fit with my job, which i appreciate much. So, great thanks for choosing me and involving to all

We had a great tour with Erkin. His car is exactly what you need on the roads in Kyrgyzstan, and we felt very safe with his skilled driving ability.
Erkin is a friendly and easy host to spend time with, he’s very knowledgable & took opportunities to create different experiences where they came up, for example we drove by a tribe annual gathering and he spoke to them and we were able to join them for food in one of the yurts. The tour schedule, accommodation and activities were fantastic. We really enjoyed our time - thanks so much to Erkin!
Pretty and Very open minded couple. Actually I wondered how all things was very well and easy. As a result we were lucky in our trip and meet by the way many interesting things. Double rainbow after scary rain in Songkol as a prize. At first I worried about the road and pass. The real horse games - Kok-Bory (Blue wolf:) between two villages teams (not the show for tourists). I really enjoyed the trip!

Erkin is a wonderful guide who has the knowledge, passion, and equipment to ensure you have a great experience on a tour of the beautiful nature and scenery of Kyrgyzstan. Erkin is the type of man who truly loves what he does, and you can see that in the passion and effort he puts into creating a fascinating and diverse outdoors experience. Erkin can drive his vehicles across off-roading surfaces where no one else can go. He is flexible and is happy to tweak trips and itineraries based on your preferences. He is adaptable when uncooperative weather requires changes as well. I would recommend Erkin with 5 stars.
Nice fellows from USA. Open to the world, good moods and humor

I wanted to go on a Soviet adventure (like Bald and Bankrupt on YouTube). I contacted Erkin because I saw that he offered a factory tour of Kyrgyzstan and thought he might have a good knowledge of other interesting Soviet sites.
I gave Erkin some suggestions of things I wanted to see and a he got back to me with an itinerary including some factories, sanatoriums, mosaics and other sites of interest. I booked Erkin using his daily rate.
What I really liked was how flexible Erkin was. When he saw some of the things I was really interested in he made other suggestions so we included extra stops (including a camp with a beautiful mosaic that Erkin visited when he was younger) and took different routes through villages where they are more likely to have Lenin statues and Soviet Bus stops. Erkin was really good at chatting to people to let us into places that were closed and chatting to locals who could tell us about the history of different sites. At one place we met an older man who had worked in a former mine for 30 years.
The highlight of the trip was Enilchek. The road there was beautiful - crossing a high mountain pass and then through a gorge. We saw horses, yak and camels on the road. Enilchek is a mostly abandoned Soviet mining town surrounded by high mountains. It was very interesting and very photogenic.
The sanatorium at Jeti-Oguz was also very interesting - inside was very Soviet!
Erkin spoke good English and his jeep was good (we went in a Land Cruiser rather than a UAZ). Erkin travelled equipped with a tent, camping equipment and some tools in the jeep). Erkin was also good a picking places to eat.
I was very happy with Erkin as a driver and a guide - if I come back to Kyrgyzstan I would use him again.
Nice Customer and nice person. Ha has specific interests. I have known many new interesting things about Kyrgyzstan from him and his activity in our tour
