We had a wonderful 2-day private 4x4 tour with Gennadii around Issyk-Kul. From the beginning, Gennadii listened carefully to our preferences and created a customized itinerary for us. We wanted to see a variety of natural landscapes at a relaxed pace, and he planned a great route with mountains, valleys, the lake, canyons, waterfalls, and hot springs. He was also very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process. During the tour, he constantly paid attention to our comfort and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The itinerary was quite full, so we ended up running later than originally planned. However, Gennadii never rushed us or made us feel pressured. He simply adjusted the schedule and let us enjoy each place at our own pace. Thanks to that, we were able to experience so many beautiful landscapes and enjoy a lot of delicious local food without feeling stressed. We are very happy that we chose Gennadii as our guide. He was flexible, reliable, and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. We highly recommend him for anyone looking for a private, nature-focused trip in Kyrgyzstan.
Gennadii may be a very good guide, but I didn't end up using his service because he asked for more money about a week before we were supposed to meet. We had previously discussed my itinerary at length a few weeks prior, agreed on a price, and I paid the deposit. At some point, he must have decided that he wanted to make more money and asked for a 50% increase on what we had previously agreed upon. I tried to compromise on items to bring his costs down, but he insisted on the much higher price. I ended up not going with him and received my deposit back. He put me in a bad position as I had to scramble to find someone else while I was already in the middle of my trip. Luckily, I found someone, did everything I had planned to do, and ended up paying less than the amount he and I had initially discussed.
I have very good experience with trip. Recommend for all who are planning visit beautiful Kyrgyzstan.
