About Gulnara

Gulnara has almost 19 years of experience in tourism! She was born and grew up in Murghab in Eastern Pamir in Tajikistan. In 2006 she graduated from Osh State University’s Department of World Languages, with a major in English language and French as a second foreign language. She spent a year as a volunteer for the Soros Foundation in Kyrgyzstan before returning to Tajikistan. Gulnara has worked with Operation Mercy and GIZ (The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) as a translator and a project assistant as well as an area administrator and community mobiliser with ACTED, and an executive director with META (Murghab Ecotourism Association). Gulnara has the best team with excellent reputations: they are experienced drivers, hotel/homestay/guest house owners and guides/translators in Kyrgyzstan and in Tajikistan.

Thankyou for answering all of our questions. We have paid the deposit and look forward to our trip. After a day in Dushanbe we hope to see a little of the Fann mountains Then 2 of our party will be flying out of Tajikistan from Khujand early on 21st July. We would like to organise for a driver to take us over the Azob pass? We Don`t want to go through the tunnel. Do you have any suggestions for our 3 days?
