We had a great trip with Meder, given our short time in Bishkek. We saw many unique sights and got to try some delicious Kyrgyz food! Meder was very friendly, shared lots of knowledge about his country and had a great itinerary. We would highly recommend a trip with Meder!
Meder helped us immediately when we had to break up with our first Guide. When he heard that we were in trouble in Jalal Abad and needed help, he has stopped his own vacation and come from Issyk Kul. Meder was totally friendly, funny, well organised and always honest. He had a very good evaluation of the distances of the road, conditions and a perfect network of restaurants and accommodations. He helped us a lot while translating e.g. In a Restaurant to find vegetarian food for me. He was more a friend than a guide during this time! We played cards in the evening, laughed about jokes and music, ate ice cream like children, doing selfies, sharing our food and drinks. He was also very calm and patient. Especially when we were looking for postcards (very difficult to find in Kyrgyzstan). His car was in very good condition and he has a very safe driving style. In the end, he made us some local presents, which was totally nice! Unfortunately, he has overslepped the morning, when he had to drop us off at the Airport. It was a little bit stressful for us. But we have reached the Airport via Taxi in time. I doubt that he didn‘t mean to do that and I really believe in his apologies. So in the end no big deal in comparison to how thankful we are for his help and great trip/time with him! Next time we would do it again directly from the start.
