Mirbek was very passionate about his hometown of Karakol. He is extremely knowledgeable of the surrounding areas and took us to some amazing place both touristy and off the beaten track! He showed us all different types of Kyrgyz food which was absolutely amazing. We can’t recommend him highly enough!

Mirbek is very polite and intelligent, he pays great attention to hygiene. He drives very smoothly.We were invited to his parents' house and treated to a delicious meal. He also enjoyed traveling with us. The restaurant he took us to was also good. Recommended as a guide.

Mirbek was an excellent guide. He catered for all my needs ensuring he included everything I asked for in my itinerary. The accommodation was very good and it was lovely to have breakfast and lunch with his family. He has good fitness and is able to do all the hikes with you. Mirbeks English was very good, just only sometimes difficult to understand. The only downside is that the air con in the car wasn’t very good, it was better to have the windows down. Overall a very good trip and I highly recommend Mirbek.

We really enjoyed this 4days(3nights) trip. Although sometimes the hiking in high mountain was a little hard for us, however, he tried his best to encourage us and find the best course. Very good Guide

I had a very nice journey with Mirbek. He had done very good planning, and his itinerary for an active holiday in the eastern part of Kyrgyzstan was brilliant. I have travelled a lot, and I would say that Mirbek is one of the best guide and tour buddy I ever had. Mirbek is a very good choice for active holiday in Kyrgyzstan. If I ever return to Kyrgyzstan I will travel with Mirbek.

Am sure Mirbek does a great job but I ended up with his younger brother Maliabek. He was fine but certainly didn’t represent value for money and I wouldn’t use him again. I wasn’t told that Mirbek wasn’t coming and I had been given Maliabek- so probably worth checking. I tried to book Mirbek because of his profile and all the great reviews. So I’m sure he’s good - just double check that’s who you are getting!

Thanks to Mirbek, we had a very interesting trip from Bishkek around the Issyk-Kul lake. Hiking in various picturesque canyons and to waterfalls, waking up in a yurt on the lake shore, enjoying lunches with local people as well as Mirbek`s family. Diving into local Kyrgyz culture to the maximum extent possible during those few days. Mirbek is a cautious driver and a careful host for his guests. Thanks a lot!

We accomplished most of the planned itinerary and Mirbek was friendly and a safe driver. There was some miscommunication about the price and plan because of the language barrier, but we worked it out. We saw beautiful places and had a lovely day trip which included hiking, though we did not learn any information about the area/culture/country so he seemed to function more as a driver, rather than a guide.

Mirbek is a caring and responsible driver-guide. He provided a nice insight into the local culture as someone who actually lives in Karakol.

Mirbek is a very enthusiastic young guide. He took us to all the sites around Krygyzthan and to his very famous home town, Karakol. He took so many photos of us in different poses in different locations always ensuring that we enjoyed the tour and his country. He and his family were such good hosts when he invited us to his house for dinner. His wife is such a good cook. we were vegetarians but his wife accomodated this request of ours too. The guest house he recommended was also fabulous. the people in the guest house were lovely and very generous . In short we saw everything that we expected to see and had a lot of fun in this wonderful country. He always ensures that his guests are always comfortable. I would definitely recommend Mirbek since he would definitely make your trip something to remember and cherish.
