About Nilufar
I am a local English speaking guide in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Since 2007 have been guiding for tourists from English speaking countries. I love my job and enjoy it very much as from my childhood because of my grandad i was interested in history and my granma taught me embroidery and my greatgrand dad taught us some religious classes at home...
Years passed i got my school education at Soviet school and high education after Independence of Uzbekistan. One year worked at school then studied at the school for guides under Uzbektourism national company ( used to be) and got my sertificate.
And all what i learnd from my grand parents came back to me.
And i am greatful to my grandparents for their effort on me for creating basement for my guiding profession in such wonderful city - Bukhara.
I welcome you all to Bukhara which has fragments of the famous fairy tale " 1001 nights" and share our rich history, colourful traditions and hospitable people's unique handicraft stories with you.

Fergana Valley - Rainbow Of Ikat

Day 1
At 08:00 departure from Tashkent to Kokand. Arrival in Kokand around 12 midday and if you want the driver can suggest you options for lunch - visit the Khudoyar-Khan Palace, Jami Mosque and Norbut-biy Madrasah. Continue to Rishtan to the house of a well-known ceramic master, Rustam Usmanov, whose works are exhibited on world exhibitions. At pottery master’s you will visit the workshop, see the process of pottery creation and see collection of local ceramics. Afterwards, we will continue to Fergana city.

Day 2
- In the morning visit Akhmad Al Fergani Park. Drive to Margilan and visit Said Akhmad Khodja. Today, madrasah is a home for number of craftsmen producing handmade carpets and silk. Have a walk on traditional market and continue to "Golden Silk" Silk producing Factory to see the production process of silk with traditional Ikat patterns.
Drive to Tashkent. Arrive in Tashkent, drop off at your hotel.
End of Tour to Fergana Valley.

Meet at the lobby of the hotel with the guide
09:00 - Today you will get acquainted with the life in the village. We will drive 30 km outside of Bukhara to Nayman village and have some masterclasses from villagers for baking traditional non- bread, making dumplings, samosa and traditional Bukhara plov- the king dish of Uzbek cuisine. You will also have some experience of gardening work and at the end, there will be donkey riding. Lunch will be there as well.
16:00– Drive back to Bukhara.
