3. Organizing transportation: A tour operator would organize transportation for the travelers during their stay, whether that be by hiring a private vehicle, arranging for shared transport or booking flights.
4. Hiring local guides: To ensure that the travelers have a safe and enjoyable experience, a tour operator would hire local guides who can provide information about the region's history, culture, and geography.
5. Providing logistical support: As a tour operator, I would also be responsible for providing logistical support to travelers, including arranging for meals, organizing permits for restricted areas and arranging for medical assistance if needed.
In addition to the above, a tour operator would also be responsible for ensuring that the travelers have a pleasant experience throughout their trip. This would involve addressing any concerns or issues that may arise, and ensuring that the travelers are satisfied with their overall experience.

Himalaya Nangahparbat And Indus River Valleys Skardu

Fairy Meadows is approachable by a fifteen kilometer-long jeepable trek starting from Raikot Bridge on Karakoram Highway to the village Tattu (Tato). The dangerous and narrow gravel mountain road from the bridge to the village is only open to locals, who provide transportation to visitors. In 2013, the World Health Organization declared it the second-deadliest road on the planet. From Tato onward, it takes about three to four hours hiking by a five kilometer trek to Fairy Meadows. The grassland is located in the Rakhiot valley, at one end of the Rakhiot glacier which originates from the Nanga Parbat and feeds a stream that finally falls in the River Indus. Since 1992, locals have operated camping sites in the area.

It is equally popular with high altitude trekkers, who trek to Baltoro Glacier, K2 Base Camp and Concordia. Skardu by road lies approximately 5 hours away from Gilgit.
