We were two couples and did a 13-day trip with Nurali (Nurash) across Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, including the Pamir Highway, between the end of July and the beginning of August. The landscapes in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are stunning, and the people are friendly and welcoming. It was an incredible trip. Nurash was a great guide and driver. We always felt safe with him, and he even helped people in trouble along the road. He has a kind heart and was genuinely fun; we had great laughs together! Nurash is knowledgeable and speaks good English, and we learned a lot about Central Asia. Nurash is well-organized and always took care of our needs (including ice cream and swims in Issyk-Kul during the hot days!). After 13 days with him, we felt he was no longer just our driver, but a friend. I really recommend traveling with him, and I would travel with him again if I return to Central Asia. Rakhmat dosum!

Nuraly planned and led a tough tour for us through Kyrgyzstan and the Pamir, and he is an excellent guide. He never hesitated to help others on the road, pulling a car out of a river crossing or stepping in after a crash to get people out, calm them down, and stay with them until the emergency services arrived. He is also a skilled mechanic with a good car: 14 days of hard driving without a single problem. He knows Kyrgyzstan and the Pamir very well and has real connections there. He was especially strong in the Pamir, his home region, and shows genuine kindness and friendship toward the local people. Communication was never an issue. Alongside good English, he speaks Kyrgyz, Russian, and Tajik, which made the many checkpoints quick and easy. He is curious, knowledgeable, and always up for a good conversation, and he knows when to adapt the plan and when to hold firm. I highly recommend him.

I recently completed a 6-day trip with Nuraly from Osh to Dushanbe via the Wakhan Valley and can really recommend Nuraly as both a driver and guide. Choosing him was a no-brainer and really elevated my experience of the Pamir Highway. He speaks very good English and was willing to answer my frequent (and I'm sure often inane) questions. Nuraly is also extremely mechanically competent, and although we did not encounter any problems with his Land Cruiser on the drive, he was able to assist other cars that had problems. He also took us to some amazing sights that were off-road and that we otherwise would not have known about. All in all, I highly recommend Nuraly not only because of his skill as a driver but also because he is an excellent guide and also just a fun person to be around. Absolutely 10/10 experience and would not hesitate to do a trip with Nuraly again!

I and my friends hired Nuraly in order for him to take us through the Pamir Highway on an 8-day tour, we didn’t know what to expect in the beginning because we heard from previous Pamir highway experiences that the guides spoke no English. But to our surprise, Nuraly spoke very good English! He gave us good insight on every part of the trip and really was so handy when we entered restaurants and guest houses. He is also a very lively person who likes to get involved in all the activities we did. He also gave us a lot of advice regarding what to do in our follow up destinations. I believe that thanks to Nuraly, our Pamir experience exceeded our expectations and he really made it super engaging thanks to his great level of English. The highlights from our Pamir trip with Nuraly are as follows: - his great level of English - his local knowledge about every destination on the Pamir. - his engaging and outgoing personality - his comfortable car and safe driving. Our tour of the Pamir Highway was amazing and very interesting! I saw photos of the Pamir before the trip, but when you see it live it’s just great! We met very hospitable people, and it was especially interesting to learn the national flavor. Our driver was a very interesting conversationalist and told not only about the places which we visited, but also some facts about the history of the country. It was very interesting, inspiring, hospitable! I recommend Nuraly as an experienced driver who will be able to organize an interesting tour of the Pamir highway!

Nuarly was a great guide. He was very helpful and drove us through the Pamir Highway. It was a wonderful experience. He has a close connection to the locals and the culture.

Nuraly was a fabulous, careful driver, and very professional. He was also very happy and friendly, and easy to get along with. Nuraly speaks great English, and has been driving in the Pamir area (as well as others) for 11 years, so he knows many of the locals in the region. He arranged for us to stay at lovely homestays/guesthouses where we felt so welcomed and gained a bit of an insight into local life. I would highly recommend Nuraly as a driver/guide- especially for the Pamir region, but also in Central Asia in general!
