Samat.

Samat is one of the best workers in the tourist industry that we have ever met, and we have travelled quite a bit. We rented a car from Samat and found him to be extremely trustworthy, honest, honourable and friendly. He not only rented the car to us but welcomed my wife and I into his home because he had to pick up some items from there for our trip. He informed us upfront of exactly what he was going to charge us and he stuck to it. When he showed us the car he took the time to inform us how it works including any minor faults, and this was prior to us paying. He was incredibly professional and his Lexus was a reliable and solid car that we thoroughly enjoyed driving for the 3 days we rented it. My wife and I would have no hesitations recommending Samat as a man to either hire a car from or as a guide. His knowledge of Kyrgyzstan is very detailed and he helped us get the most of of our time in the country. A first class service.

Travelling with Samat was the best decision we could make. He is very experienced driver. He knows a lot about places we visited. He can speak English very well. But first of all he is very nice and sociable person. Samat was prepared to our journey very well. Gasoline canisters, itinerary, knowledge of roads and places. I could mention many such things. I traveled with children and they also liked Samat so much. Horse-riding with him is one of their best memories. Before we started our trip we were in contacts via whatsapp - Samat answered all my questions. So what can I say? Samat was not only our driver and guide. He was also our family member during fantastic time in Pamir! I really recommend travelling with Samat!

Samat was awesome. Great driver, guide and now life long friend. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He even drove all night to get to another border crossing when the one we went to weren`t allowing foreign tourists through. Can`t recommend Samat highly enough. Definitely choose Samat for a great overall experience. Oh forgot to mention.. The car is very comfy too :)

It was wonderful to travel with Samat! He was not only a driver. He helped us whenever we needed it. He drove us trough not easy roads, and our total way was longer than the initial agreement, but there was no extra price for the extra kms! It was very nice to stay with him in a yurt talking about Italy and Kirghizistan (Samat knows everything about Kirghizistan). And it was an unique experience to learn to ride horses in Song Kul Andrea, Mario, Arturo and Emanuele

We travelled along the Pamir with Samat for 7 days between Osh and Dushanbe. He`s very reliable driver with a good André comfortable car, knows well the road and places to see, speaks good English and makes jokes :) I can highly recommand him to travel through the Pamir!

We have rented a self-drive car from Samat, from Dushanbe to Bishkek. Honestly, we could have not wished for a better experience. The communication was easy, friendly and fast since even before we have booked the car. Samat was always available, answering to all the questions. Once the booking was made, we continued the communication on Whatsapp. He was literally available 24/7. This also made us feel secure even before the trip has started. Samat brought us the car to the airport, from where he drove us around Dushanbe to help to change the money and get a Tajik sim card. Samat also sent us a recommended itinerary, how many hours it takes to get from one point to another point, as well as the road conditions. It was very helpful when we planned our days. The car itself: Lexus Rx300 2000 year. Samat also brought 2x20l petrol cans. A thoughtful gesture, we were planning to get them ourselves before. Moreover, there was a phone charger in the car, so we have always stayed with the batteries charged. The car is very reliable. We had some minor issues, but that is just normal on Pamir. Nothing that could have influenced our journey. Every day we have reached our destinations as planned. At the end of the trip Samat came to pick the car in the hostel where we stayed in Bishkek. It was a once in a lifetime experience! We definitely recommend to rent a car from Samat, he also can drive you through the Pamir. Very patient and friendly person. Viktorija&Pedro
