About this host
Serik runs a small tour company based in Aktau, on Kazakhstan's Mangystau peninsula, and guides and drives trips himself alongside a team of other guides and drivers.
The focus is Mangystau's desert landscapes: the Valley of Balls, Sherkala Mount, the Valley of Castles, Bozjyra's canyons and panoramas, Tuzbair salt flat and the Ustyurt plateau. Trips range from single-day visits to Bozjyra and Tiramisu Canyon up to eight-day loops around the whole peninsula, mostly run as small groups starting and ending in Aktau.
Travel is by 4x4 off-road vehicle, with air conditioning and comfortable camping gear for nights spent in tents, and usually a night in a yurt village or guesthouse along the way. Meals, water, admission fees and airport or station pick-up are built into the packages, and travel insurance is included. Guides are English, Kazakh or Russian speaking depending on the option chosen, and itineraries can be arranged for private groups as well as the regular departures.
Servic also includes drone video and photo coverage on some tours, and evenings can feature local food, music and a culture night in an ethno village for travelers who want more than the landscapes.

We had an experience with serik that we will never forget. The driver Andre, is a truly charming gentleman and we loved him. The tour was different in a good way from what we expected before we joined, but it is an experience that is hard to change. I would recommend it to everyone, but I also don't want to tell anyone about it because it is just too wonderful a place. Thank you for your hospitality!
