Sona.

Super happy with the tour, and all the help I got. She made time for me to get my groceries even, shared wifi and helped with currency exchange with better rates than from the state. Much more than can be expected! I am happy to recommend as a guide and grateful for my time in Turkmenistan.. The only somewhat negative thing is that I paid 110%. The deposit was never refunded. I handed her 100% of the ammount agreed upon in cash, it means I paid 10% extra because my credit card was charged too. With the other guides I have been with the deposit was always a deposit, not something extra. I don't know if I am right or wrong about this if this is how it is supposed to be. I asked her about this, and she said she would get back to me but she never did. Not really a big deal, or so much money ($70) though.

Ruslan (and Sona) did everything they could to make our tour of Turkmenistan perfecr! They truly went above and beyond in order to make us feel welcome, achieve everything we wanted, and get the most out of our experience. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who goes!

Sona was very helpful to arrange tour but she wasn’t our tour guide. Our tour guide was another person Ruslan. He was unprofessional ( always play game) and when we asked to exchange money, he paid first in local currency and we paid him back in USD at the end. He asked us to pay him more than our spending and also he used low currency rate and he made money from us which shouldn’t be happened as tour guide. If he is your tour guide, better not to ask him to pay first. otherwise u will end up to lose money. very disappointed at the end.

The tour was great. Please note that while I booked it with Sona, she wasn`t my guide. She did pick me up from the airport and helped me with exchanging money, but the rest of the tour was with someone else, who was excellent.

Everything was perfect

Our experience in Turkmenistan was perfect! Sona is so kind, she knows everything about her country. She organized it incredibly well taking into account the short time we had. Everything went so smothly with her, her friend and her driver. I would love to come back and I will reccomend my friends to visit Turkmenistan with her! Thanks Sona!
