Zhanar.

My friend and I had such a lovely trip with Zhanar. Zhanar made it so easy for me to organise a trip before we got there, even though we had to change our itinerary a few times because of weather. After doing some research, I realised that in winter it could be hard to do any day trips around Almaty to the national parks and some other places, because a lot of tours wouldn`t run and there isn`t a lot of public transport outside of the city. Best decision I made! I got to see my first proper snow, and there were plenty of wintery activities organised, as well as great local food, history, and cultural activities. We never felt rushed, we had lots of freedom and Zhanar always asked what we`d like to do or what we thought about something, and we really enjoyed getting to hear her thoughts on Kazakhstan. Everything was really easy to organise, and it was more like having a friend to show you around their hometown than being on a tour. Both of us would now love to come back, maybe in summer, and would definitely ask Zhanar to organise something for us again! Zhanar also saved me a little at immigration on the way out, so thank you again for that!!!

Unfortunately Zhannar didn`t have time but her guide, Murat, did a great job and was very helpfull and reliable. Zhannar did her best for suggesting and organizing our tour. Hostfamilies were good, as was Murat`s car. Everything went well, thanks a lot. my+ro

Hi, Actually, the program was arranged and in very professional way, we have enjoyed the tours with Janna. She takes care of details and she arranges the tour to fit the type of travelers. In my case, I have traveled with my family. Therefore, she designed the program with the consideration of having kids as part of the travelers and that was good to us. Zhanar was a fantastic guide, and I had a great experience during my tour with her. She was extremely knowledgeable about local culture, history, attractions, etc., and she shared all of that, which helped give a great perspective for the trip. On top of her knowledge as a guide, she consistently went above and beyond to help me with a difficult situation when the airline lost my baggage upon arrival to Almaty. My bags contained important gear for an expedition to climb Peak lenin, and she went to great lengths to help me get it back. It was a great experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Zhanar again if I return to Central Asia!

My private 6-days tour with Zhanar was probably anything but ordinary, but a great pleasure overall. She took care of anything I needed and wished and was really flexible. Zhanar has a young and energetic spirit combined with a lot of (live) experience. She has been more than just a guide to me, as she was open to tell about herself and showed considerable interest in me as a person. Safe driver, knowledgeable guide and a gentle and dynamic personnality at the same time, all in one person! Very lucky to have Zhanar with us on our trip to Altyn Emel, Kolsai lake and Charyn. The trip in almaty region and around with zhanar was very totally amazing. She is friendly, funny, lot of powerful!! i was in alty emel park, kolsai lake, charyn canyon, almaty lake , falcon show, shymboulak climbing, all activity was organize by zhannar with power and love about kazakhstan. All this place must to be see if you come around almaty because it s totally amazing. Zhanar is an extremely nice person and an excellent guide who speak english fluently. She knows a lot of things about Kazakhstan`s history, culture, customs, etc. She also know many people and she seems to have friends everywhere. We explored together Altyn-Emel with my wife and her sister. It was a beautiful experience. I think next time we should spend 3 days there to hike and see more. I definitely recommend to hire her for a successful trip.

Honestly and trust worthiness are two great characters of a tour guide. I would paraphrase an American insurance company ‘s trademark: “ YOU ARE IN GOOD HANDS WITH ZHANAR (JANNA)”. Janna is truly a professional guide. She arranged every detail without a hitch. She provided help even after her tenure ended, and this shows that one can trust her 100% when she is your guide. Everything was just perfect, Zhanar is a very smart and polite person. The whole trip was great organized, we visited beautifull places and we will have milion of marvelous memories :)

First of all, Zhanar is a lovely person. Smiling, listening, sharing and caring. During my two days stay in Almaty, she organized everything for me. She booked me a cool accomodation, with heavenly good home-made breakfast and dinner. I had a day-long trekking in the mountains planned, so she made sure I go there with a Kazakh champion mountain rescue member. Impressive. We also visited Charyn canyons. A long drive from Almaty, but we had a really good conversation on the road. We even had a little picnic ar the river Charyn. She tried to show me everything possible in my short period of stay. She even helped me buy a local SIM card, off-tour. She speaks very good English, and she`s very patient. Plus, she`s flexible in organizing programmes, just ask her, she`ll come up with great ideas. I am happy I chose her as my guide, and I would happily contact her again, if somehow life would take me to Kazakhstan again. Thank you Zhanar!
