Gilgti is one of the most destination to enjoy adventure sport in Pakistan.Gilgit Baltistan is famous for safaris. In oldest times when there is Silk Route Caravan travel from central Asia to Europe they introduced different sorts of riding include camel, Yak, Horse , Bulls,and Donkey.
While horse riding is the most exciting activity as in the past for many of daily life activites include Polo ,battles, travel this means of riding was used . due to vehicle services every where nowadays its is depicted but still in some parts of rural areas as well as in Polo games still used horse riding . we planned this sort of unique riding first time in 2014 it was successful and most enjoyable while crossing from meadows and villages it is considered as the most respectful way of transportation and as compare to any vehicle horse riding gives you more opportunities to learn at different destinations.
So here we planned a week horse riding tour from Chalt Nagar to Huzza karimabad and then to Hoper valley with following planned through trained polo horses .
First arrival day we well come our guests at Airport and drop to Hotel . After refreshing of two hours drivie towards fails masjid , Ghnaj Mandee, Barah Koh and drop to Hotel
Drive through KKH en route Taxila muesum , National Museum of Pakistan ,chilas Secret rocks and Chilas Valley
4 hours drive to Gilgit most spectacular and splendid views of three ranges and meadows .Bagrot , Goro , Bunji meadows are charms of this route.
Early morning Van drive to Chalt valley distance from here is 75km drive on KKH ( Karakorum Hihway ) .1 hour drive to Chalt valle at Harespo area polo trained horses will be awaits for you.
Harespo is a places where district headquater offices are locate and Rakaposhi view is magnificent. riding to riding through lush green settlements of Nagar as Skanderabad , Jafferabad , Nilt ,Ghulmet and after 4 hourse reached at Rakaposhi view point for overnight .Horses will be feeding here and cattle huts of Ghulmet
rididing through Minapin either KKH almost tooks 5 hourse to reached Hunza Karimabad . en route enjoying to take short rests in villages meet locales pluck fruits free from orchards besides riding route.
this day almost takes 6 hours riding through Nagar road, the first settlement in route is Nagar khas a place where Nagar oldest fort is located . later on 4 hourse enter to Hoper oasis a plain lush green area . and drop to Hotel
early morning riding starts from another way from Nagar khas choose another road to ride and crossing the SAS valley . enroute at Summary( village of SAS) Lunch and fruits reached to karkorum High way . or continued riding through to Rakaposhi view point
Here we drop the horses and get van car to reached aerly morning to Gilgit for flight . here flights mainly depend on weather .if weather is clear fly by flight or drive through KKh t Islamabad Driving tooks whole day .
Mid night or early depend on your international ticket timing drop you to fly home
